Sat in this at slam! Beast of a build for sure. He ran half the demo at half volume, then full tilted it when the song hit a point with no bass, caught me off guard, lmao.
That 2 inch plexi in itself cost a grip. I know what I paid for my 1 inch and damn! I like it.

I really like this build. Plexi loading wall that isn't just for show because it's 2" thick.
Clean loud with optimal (IMO) range. 4th orders aren't always that wide of a bandwidth.

@@JacobViral ive been following you afew months now. I forget how I ran across you. But I found a video on your build and went from there. Good attention to detail. And you know your stuff. Ive Been browsing a bunch of you guys on RUclips. For maybe 8 years now hoping to rebuild my setup. Back in 2004-2006 I had one of the loudest if not the loudest SPL systems with no wall. 4 15" Memphis mojo subwoofers (orange baskets) and 2 memphis mojo 3400 watt amps. High output alt. And a huge slot ported box tuned to 32 Hz . I was hitting 156.3 back then in a 91 Nissan pathfinder. Again no wall.... Almost no sound deadener....lol

My brother is thinking about using 21lb 2 part foam for his roof in his vehicle and a small layer in his doors etc i guess it drys harder then cement

I'm not trying to win any competitions but I would luv one 18" with a pair of 10" subs in my trunk... 4000 watts would probably be perfect... Take a 4x 1000 watt amp, bridge two channels for the 18" @ 2 ohms and run the 10" subs off the other 2 channels @ 4 ohms... Any thoughts, suggestions or advice you have would be appreciated...

Dude from transformers built a system I know bumblebee is pissed
2 peaks is not weird. Thats perfect bandwith. If you graph a 4th you will see 2 bumps. One on the low end a dip in the middle and a high end peak. Unlike a ported box that spikes at one frequency. Its simple science
i love the team series 18's it's legit my dream subs BUT their soo fuckin expensive man i my dream build would be 4 of these on 5k each21ohm in an 28hz to max 33hz tuned enclosure with 4X 15 inch PA mids with compression horn drivers in cabin for mids and highs cause a 15 inch mid pushes the mid bass quite a lot better then a 6.5" to 10 inch mid

Well. If he bought them used or he planned a different build there r several reasons he would tear them down to re cone them they could just have wore out spiders or added spider packs to change the fs value of the sub to match his box or decrease spider packs or the type of coil or the resistance or ohm of the coil's the baskets and motor is the expensive part of these subs re cones r probably about 125-175$ a piece compared to the sub with basket motors and cone go. For like $1800+

Pitch and speed control in music settings and some of the music appears slow because its distorted out by the bass and subs

You have to make sealed side bigger for subs that are not meant for sealed applications. It was done intentionally to compensate for that aspect
With the right enclosure he should be hitting 62 and up
The Orion HCCA SPLX 18" are over $2500 a sub
Nobody runs Orion. Overpriced and don't put up numbers. You never see anybody with big spl setups running Orion for a reason.

Florida/georgia/carolina region quite a bit of big shows all year round, I personally use facebook Events and basshead pages to help find.
