I appreciate the time and effort it took into making this production. I have a couple of notes. The boys fight scene looks rehearsed.I was in theater for a long time come and one of the 1st things that a director says is practice outside of whatever production because if it's going to work it can't just be you practicing at school or whichever venue it is. There's no fluidity to it. At one point the boys pause as if to say "oh yeah we're supposed to be gripping each other now".Gaston does not sound like he means any of his lines , so belle stepping in and saying no makes that action kind of meaningless. For the transformation sequence It kind of wasn't dark enough, and I know how the trick is done. He either needs to have some pockets where he could hide them or he needs to aim to fling them at the back of the scenery. Thank you for making this production
These are high school students and some of them had never been onstage before (as was the case with these two characters). Our group has only 10 rehearsals total, and these two had two rehearsals with the set before show week. The set was moving as they fought, so they had to be careful not to fall. So yes, it is definitely not as polished as other groups that have longer rehearsal periods and more experienced actors and crew. We are pretty proud of them for this effort and how they pulled it off! As for the flying, it was choreographed by Foy Enterprises - the entire sequence is theirs. We are ok with the audience seeing a bit of how it works :)
I miss this show dude
Belle and Prince Adam
Really wish there was more.. like a Gaston and belle scene
