@@Stixxy I played another game by perfect world games and spent a total of over 60 grand over 14yrs (checked charge history). I will never trust a company associated with perfect world games after I heard how bad ToF was. I heard about the issues and said to myself (Well it’s perfect world games I guess these ppl didn’t know this company)🤣

Being honest.. They did a fantastic job with Vera...... My biggest complaint early on release. was there was no real City... the shetlers werent even defensive shelters, walls falling down, oiir barricade, anyone could just walk into it and rob the citizens. Banges was just like a small port village. And half the village was isolated and never used again after it got taken over. there was no civil life on the tower even,
Then they released Vera, and it was a greatly improved City.. They even had their own Monorail in the game. . It felt so more belieable that people were living in it.. If they can Replica Vera in this new game. Hats off to them.
So I dont enterly think they are ripiing of projeckt Mugan, It looks like they using what they did with Vera as a baseline to create a city like game. They did Vera before Mugan was announced, so you cant say they are simply stealing the idea

Neverness to Everness is a lovely name. Give this game a shot. I know your hate for the studio runs deep but i truly think the game looks good. they might have learned from tower of fantasy's shortcomings.
A studio can learn from their mistakes. And improve their quality.

They did it with ToF but futuristic cities. It's just not popular as every video is spammed with "dead game" comments
@@genshinfinity The other thing is they shot themselves in the foot with ToF a few times around. I liked the game myself as I love actual MMOs where I can interact/see other players going about their business. But they hard split several people with the plethora of servers they had with no way to switch (Until later and even then it was paid) and likewise not having Cross Play. Honestly I held out for ToF for a good while but even I couldn't justify the very quick and blatant power creep it had.
@Durahan13 What do you mean? Servers are merged and crossplay works between pc and mobile (except Playstation due to different publishers). Maybe those were in early days. I don't think we paid for server merge/transfer as it was automatic (though some people with same usernames had issues)
@Durahan13 I think powercreep is no longer an issue since you can now change dimension levels (world difficulty level). I was playing with a whale the other day but our damage was roughly the same (my dimension level is not max). PVP is now balanced. I'm not a meta player so it doesn't bother me

one thing i can tell u about hotta after playing tof for 1.5y they never lie in their trailers bc they always use in game footage just like CA with total war warhammer

I am very interested to see how this game looks and performs with it being the first open world gacha game to be made using UE5. And of course, hopefully the studio learned from their mistakes with Tower of Fantasy and this new game absolutely knocks it out of the park
The concept looks great, if they can actually make the launch flawless, it'll probably be very successful
So I saw TOF got better character design wise, but has the story improved? Last time I played, it was very choppy and the VA recording wasn't good, it skipped a lot. Like one minute people would be talking and then they wouldn't be, lol.

Hotta Studio are a great dev team, it's the publishers that fuck it up for everyone else pushing their greed. I doubt developers set out in their career to intentionally make a bad game or try to aggressively push microtransactions. There is also gameplay floating around and it looks great if they can pull it off, but if it's the same publishers, then I won't be getting excited/hyped.
It wasn’t the publisher that plagiarized assets from Honkai. Or the trailer. Or the FGO currency. Or left in duplication exploits. This was all Hotta. Level Infinite is a solid publisher - they publish NIKKE and do a great job with it.
Yes indeed it does look like Project Mugen, the fact is that since it was announced we have seen practically nothing then of this game . on the other hand a 13 minute gameplay video has already been released and it looks very promising.
However it's clear how they already had the idea of creating this game before Project Mugen was announced, so let's see, now expect info on the Naked Rain game

This looks good, but so did ToF before it actually released. I am much more interested in a modern setting since we already have fantasy and sci-fi open world RPG gachas. Oh, and the music in the trailer is very reminiscent of the Persona games.
combat looks a bit stiff but we'll have to wait and see what they do with it since its still in development
Tower of fantasy had lot of issues but if im being honest i loved that game when it came out for some reason. I tend to play gachas on release and then quit, looking forward for this one! Atleast for a week 😂

I’m so tired of all these perfectly constructed Gacha-mechanical games with amazing combat and progression feeling. All having little girls as protagonist, main characters, usable characters please at least make them f-kin 18.

In gameplay footage, holy kow, they even included customizing your own Porche and roaming around the big city. This is insane. I think background story is already interesting and storywise it would not be a problem. Just hope gameplay is as good as Wuwa and gacha system is decent and F2P friendly. I really wish Hotta Studio made a major impact on gacha world with this one and not to fail like TOF. I feel sorry for Project Mugen being plagiarised though. But it's normal with Chinese gacha games I guess.
Tower of fantasy was their first game and was just a testing area for what's to come and it NTE. The 'zenless' style of quirkiness was already in TOF but it wasn't that hype cause ya know... Players dwindled but I hope hotta knew what TOF did wrong and expand that and not make it another hoyoverse recycle like how wuwa is (hopefully) shedding its layers from the clasp of 'another genshin'
They should save themselves the trouble and make it a coomer game from the start 😂

Man... The games I was most excited to play were ZZZ and blue archive... But after seeing that they were subject to censorship, I don't even follow them anymore... It's difficult for a Japanese/Korean game like this that isn't Attacked by censorship.
And Chinese games suffer censorship before being released... It's hard to get excited about these games like this
Saw the gameplay somewhere on youtube looks nice they enter some building without loading screen, combat might be an improve version of ToF, the safe world can transition to dangerous world where combat take place i think and you can drive cars. Might test it out when it come out :D
This is going to be so much better then genshin and I'm still enjoying tower of fantasy with all the awesome things and characters being added still a 8/10 game for me still more fun then genshin impact but at the same time still enjoying honkai star rail and zenless zone zero aswell

Ill see what it is like honestly, I am somewhat pessimistic, but looking at Hotta situation right now Im sure they have the experience now what a game should be made/done now.
