The game against the mewtwo deck shows how important managing tempo is and knowing when to sacrifice a pokemon for tempo, fearow went from very solid to insane because the opponent kept trying to keep a mewtwo alive and was bleeding energy. This game offers a lot of interesting decision points like that I feel I could learn so much.
Thanks for the consistent pocket content! Really hoping the metrics stay solid enough that this works out as a second game for you, love the IP and your brand.
Hey man, I’m going to steal all of your decks and study them and learn how you create them so precisely and perfectly thanks for the vid. I cannot wait to play this game when it releases
Fearow is a wonderfully frustrating answer to the energy hungry decks in prominence. For anyone bothered by coin flip cards; you're either going to learn to deal with them or not enjoy this game very much. They're very much a part of this game's identity. That said, Pokemon is the card game that helped me learn to embrace them so I'd say give it a shot even if you're put off by them.
Hello Jeff. First off, it's good to see you providing high quality content regardless of game. I'd like to know if you plan to release some sort of guide on spending and economy for this game close to release. I'm sure there are a lot of those already, but I would rather hear the opinion of someone I trust in these topics. Thanks, and keep up the great content.
Re 08:45 - I'm not so sure about Raticate/Dodrio but I'd like to submit another weird one for potentially strictly worse: Zubat/Golbat vs Doduo/Dodrio. Yes, different weakness, but nobody can tell me that switching weakness from Elecrtic to Fighting is in any way worth having almost all other stats being worse across the board.
Finally a strategy that isn’t just shove 4 EX pokemon in the deck like everyone else has been doing. Funny enough tho i got 2 EX Gengars and no regular so can i just sub them? What should the missing 3rd gengar be?
Unfortunately I think having regular gengar as a 1 energy attacker is important here. Be sure to check out other stuff from the channel as well - most of what I do for card game content is exploring off meta ideas. Lots of good stuff up here already.
Have you done a deck with Kabutops yet ? I got him in a pack yesterday and he seems pretty neat, 140 HP, 50dmg + 50 heals and a 1 energy card :D It's insane imo. Can you maybe dig into a decent deck with Kabutops by any chance ? Much appreciated
Jeff, I love your deck innovation. Easily the best deck builder I’ve seen thus far. Showcasing cards and strategies I have yet to see yet.
Most other “creators” are just clickbait. Jeff is always on point.

Farfetch'd slaps!
Loving this new content Jeff 🥰
I love the Gengar Attack Sound 👾
Man I considered making a deck with fearow because he looks beast. Thanks for the inspiration!
Loving the daily uploads, gets me through until release! Someone mentioned before but a spending guide close to release would be great!
Definitely on the docket. Will have a bunch of formal guides at releasem
Finally a Player who knows how to gitgud.
You deserve a sub!🎉
Zapdos what a nice dev
Loving all of the pocket content!!
Love this combo!

Yep 100% will have that global release week.
I was just going to leave a comment asking if you had a good Gengar list! I opened full art Gengar ex yesterday and can’t wait to use it
*Fearow. Thank you so much for this; I always saw Fearow as the poor man's Gyarados (or the wise man's, ha).
Really nice deck!

Sheesh Fearow is a straight bully. My opponents Venasaur could not come online 😂

GENGAR!!! 🤩
Don't have the Fearow line, sadhe. I've been playing around with a Psyduck version to double the Gengar effects though.
If this game gets a ranked its gonna be bigger than snap
2 copies of gengar EX is a bad idea?
Could be fine, you just have to give up a utility trainer to fit it in and i think you generally prefer regular gengar.
@@HooglandiaPocket Thanks sir!
Is it confirmed that trading will be a thing? Probably going to convince my wife to at least open her daily packs if that is the case lol.
Yeah, it's in trailers and they've said so in interviews
I mean, it's 2024 and everything is stupid, but they will probably have a reason to call themselves TCG (trading card game) ;-)
Ferrow
no official tournament cause off coin flipp :( ?
All card games are full of coinflips. Pokemon just hides them less than others.
That's "Fearow" bro...
for the algo😀

Definitely on the list.
