TVM to Bangalore bus need not go via Parassala to Nagarcoil. It has to go via Kollam, Palakkad, Coimbatore and then enter Karnataka. It has to spend very less time in TN. TN MVD people stopped this bus bcoz it is mostly travelling via TN and cutting into the revenue of TN registered buses. Media please mention that also in the news.

Media should give at most care while sharing news like this, first need to understand why TN MVD stops bus. They have given clear guidelines and notices on registration of private buses. Have they stopped KL registered vehicle? No. Buses registered under NL, AR etc. ( less tax) have been stopped. We are buying cars and paying huge percentage as road tax in Kerala. Why bus operators can’t do the same. They are running through Kerala, TN, KA but paying road tax to other states. Who are building these roads? They are charging 5-6 times travel charges during festive season. They should have informed passengers on this regard during booking, they should have used train or any other services. Now also they are not informing passengers that they have changed the route via Mysore and passengers are travelling 6-7 hours additional without knowing the betrayal of bus operators.
