  • In this lawn care vlog I am mowing a clean up on a very wet OVERGROWN yard for FREE providing a nice lawn makeover. This is a satisfying full mowing clean up. We had just had a tropical storm nearby and it was soaked.

      Not weed whacker. 27 yes in the business. Get it right bro. And who in the hell cuts wet grass that thick? Must be a damn Yankee! Maybe I'm too anal bit perfection is my strong point. Heck a customer gave me a raise today.
      Blowed my mind! But when your good at your job it shows and pays well!! Now when he trims the excess will be all over the fresh cut lawn. No pattern mo strip. Must be $25 Job.lol makes me sick to watch this shit!

    I think the better question is why do the neighbors allow that? If I see a neighbor struggling to keep up their lawn, I will go talk to them to see if I can help them and mow it for them if needed. How about a little less judging and a little more action. Most people don't want their lawns looking like that so there is usually a reason.

      My lawnmower went down one time a couple years ago and I just didnt have the funds to fix it right away because of a few other issues that happened in short order. Neighbor saw me using the weedeater and brought their pushmower across the road and told me to keep it till I was able to fix mine. Some times things just happen and we need help.

      100%. My mower broke down in the middle of summer last year and didn't have the money to buy a new one or hire a crew. None of my neighbors offered to help and were reluctant to let me borrow their mower when I finally asked. Showed their true colors.

      Our house was flooded by hurricane florence a few weeks ago so we moved to a new house and i didn't have time to get to the yard for a few weeks.It was only about six inches and not too thick so it wasnt that bad.Ive been working long hours six days a week along with trying to get settled in a new to us unfurnished house.I just wanted to say thank you for realizing that some times people have a lot going on and may not be able to get to the yard on time.Im so proud of my wife because she got it mowed by herself but at the same time feel bad because its something i feel i should be doing.

    Blade edegers are Completely most absolutly pointless imo. String trimmers have always done the job for me even for a wild yard that never been edged before

    • @danielrich3188
      @danielrich3188 5 лет назад +1

      Blade edgers tend to be quite a bit faster, and a lot of grasses are extremely difficult to edge with a string trimmer

    • @rickysmith6686
      @rickysmith6686 5 лет назад +1

      Plus a edger is metal and moves faster especially if lawns are kept up then using the weed walker to edge

    • @kevincarroll8600
      @kevincarroll8600 5 лет назад

    $150 for the basics on this yard. Mow, blow, and weed eating

    I am happy that you did not talk for ten years before showing the hole point of the video like some people do.

      I talk quite a bit on a lot of my vlogs. That's why they are vlogs. Many many people actually are interested in the play-by-play commentary. I actually feel like I shouldn't use the word vlog if I just mow, like in this video. For the most part though I have stopped talking.

      It's a long story on this one. Devastating events in their lives. I did this for free. Not their fault. But I could see it would make a great video so I asked them if I could film it.

    At around 12:50 how did you not destroy the fence with the edger? Every time I try to edge next to a fence I beat it up, any advice?

      Oh that's just the 26 years I've been doing this. I can just hold the line at like 1 millimeter wherever I want. The tip of the line is exactly where the fence is. No more, no less. I didn't double check, but you probably won't see me advancing the line either. The line only gets eaten up when it's hitting the house or the fence or the sidewalk. If you're barely touching it, you're barely using it up. This all sounds like I'm bragging or something but it's just been my job for almost 3 decades. :)

    Every gardener should have a steel blade edger . They are worth their weight in gold. I actually use a Ryobi 36 volt version...brilliant .

      You'd be surprised how many people have never even seen one. And how many lawn services know what they are, but don't have one.
