You did a great job with that topic.
The other verses was great to add context.
    Praise God

I got a tattoo of angel wings as checkered flags and a number 2, in remembrance of my grandfather who use to race. When I started reading the Bible and read about not tattooing for the dead I freaked out! Because my grandfather has passed. I asked the Lord to forgive me if I wasn't supposed to have done that. so regardless, if it’s right or wrong, the Lord forgives me. others should not be able to pass judgment. Thank you for explaining this to me.

Analogy... when we RENTED anything, for example, a CAR or a Bike/Scooter... we have no rights to put any sticker we wanted for ornaments or altered the color paint of the vehicle/bike/scooter we rented... the same analogy... Our Body is not ours, it ALL belongs to God, we all have rented Bodies from God, which we are now here and gone tomorrow... our lives are in the Hands of God...
if God wants our TIME on Earth to be over, NO MATTER how healthy or physically fit we are, there is only One (1) way to Enter NAKED into this World thru BIRTH by the Grace of God... but a Thousand and One (1001) ways to Exist (DIE) NAKED into this world... We enter Naked, we exit Naked (nothing w/ no earthly possession to bring in the Afterlife)... Amen.

That also means according to your theory that ALL women or men or children that have had there ears pierced are guilty of Leviticus 19:28! As well as everyone whose had a surgery etc....

@@anthonymiller6081 On Judgment day, the PARENTS who put incision (piercing) to the skin of their children will be fully accountable/responsible for that SIN... for they did not give permission when they were still an infant or toddlers who does not know yet the Law of God thru Moses.
CIRCUMCISION was the only one SPECIFIED INCISION by God as a Sign of God's Covenant to Man, particularly the Israel/Jews... Remember, God gave the RULES and the LAWS, and we just follow them if we Love God... For People who do not like to follow God's RULES/LAWS, that is their option, the Gift of FREEWILL, but do not expect to be SAVED in the Afterlife... The Bible said anyone who does not want to obey and follow God's commandments is not worthy of ME (Christ)...
People can be forgiven by God thru REPENTANCE especially if they did not know the Law of God... but after their repentance, Christ said, "SIN NO MORE."... if they have tattooed, they should not be proud to have them now since they have accepted Christ Jesus as a Christians... they should be doing something about it, by covering it up with some cosmetics, body paints or clothes or have them removed by modern (laser) tech way... but not still proudly showing-off their tattoos to the people, for as if they are "SINNING AGAIN" for they became the STUMBLING BLOCK to others...

Leviticus 19:28, "Do not cut your bodies for the dead or put tattoo marks on yourself".... 1 Corin. 6:19, "Do you know that your body is the temple of the Spirit of Holiness who dwells within you, whom you received from God, and you are not your own"... Leviticus 19:28 should not be used regarding tattoos as its an isolated text. Read it with the correct context. 1 Cor 6:19 is I the context of sexual immorality. Of course we have to respect our bodies as the Temple of God but don't use 1 thing only like tattoos. I had 2 tattoos before I was a Christian and 9 more afterwards when I was not in a close walking relationship with God. I was foolish, vain and proud and should have known better. It's too late now and if I could get rid of them I would. I've asked God to forgive me many times and yet I struggle with the thoughts of going to hell because of my tattoos. I truly hope I don't and hope that I'm forgiven by God

@@anthonymiller6081 The Book of Leviticus was written in Hebrew-Aramaic during the Time of Prophet Moses more than 3000 years ago, and the English word TATTOOS (cuts/ pierces w/ inks) has never been invented yet, but was specified the phrase words "INCISE (engrave) ANY MARKS (cuts of flesh) done on YOURSELF (w/ permission/ willfully)."
If the cuts/open wounds of the bodies were done by/thru war, battle, fight, medical surgery/operation to save lives or accident, therefore, you are free from SIN because you did not make it happen to yourself, it just happens unwillingly... While TATTOOS (cuts/pierces w/ inks) are done willingly and totally as Social ORNAMENTS to the Bodies only, with NO added Medical Benefits whatsoever... In the Middle East, women put temporary PRINTS (paints) of ORNAMENTS (w/o cuts) on their bodies using HENNA (DYE plant base substance) that would last for weeks or months only... during weddings and festivals occasion...
Temporary Cosmetic Body Paints for presentation in the movies are OK, as long as there are NO WILLFULLY CUTS from their own BODIES... Cutting willfully the WRIST or any parts of the body as part of SUICIDE is also a SIN against God... Willfully PIERCING of Nose, Ears, Nipples, Belly, or any parts of the Body is under Leviticus Law of God... Those who got pierced in the ears while they are infants/babies, their parents are the ones responsible on the judgment day, and not their children... The use of CLIP-ON to women's EARS is allowed for beautification ornament enhancement...
Only CIRCUMCISION (cut to the skin of male organ) is allowed as a Covenant of God to Israel (not obligated to the Gentiles) plus it has some added MEDICAL BENEFITS of Cleanliness towards reproduction (pregnancy of the woman) if a Man is circumcized, according to modern medical science found... an uncircumcised male organ needs properly washed and clean before mating (marital sex) with their own wives for a better chance of pregnancy without any defects on physical or mental of the unborn child.
In conclusion, LEVITICUS 19:28/paraphrased... is all about WILLFULLY CUTS/PIERCING on their own SKIN/BODY... WHY?... 1 CORIN. 6:19/paraphrased... for the Body is the Temple of the Holy Spirit that BELIEVERS of God (Christians/Jews/Muslims) must need Proper RESPECT... Facts and Truth, Biblically and Logically speaking... Amen.

@@anthonymiller6081 Did you know, that there are now modern surgical technology ways to remove our tattoos that were done while we are not yet in conjunction (non-believer) with God if we really want to follow/obey Christ Jesus... The Bible instructed us "NOT TO BECOME A STUMBLING BLOCK TO OTHERS (Brethren)."... If there is a will, there is always a way that God will provide to us today...
Some Christians with Tattoos do not hide nor cover them with clothes and proudly show them to the public, and identify themselves as Christians (Believers)... and say to themselves, it is between Me and God... YES, God knows the Truth while we are still UNBELIEVERS... but not all people know, and that makes us STUMBLING BLOCKS for others... If I have a TATTOOS, I will try as much as I can to cover it up with clothes or body paints/cosmetics if possible... but not to be proud of having it... Being PROUD of having still TATTOOS after knowing the TRUTH, is like SINNING again... God said, to the sinners who were been cleaned, "SIN NO MORE or WORSE WILL COME TO YOU."
God is a Fair God, those people who died without knowing the Biblical TRUTH, just like what Christ said, On judgment day, God would be more merciful/tolerable to the people of Sodom and Gomorrah for if the Gospel Truth reached their Ears they could have changed their Hearts just like the People of Nineveh when Prophet Jonah told them the TRUTH and they all turn away from their sins and the City of Nineveh was spared of destruction from God...

Those People who went under SURGICAL KNIFE (figure of speech) for VANITY without Physical defects (w/o abnormalities) are also SINNING against God... Those People who changed their Biological features based on their own PREFERENCES, do not RESPECT the creator God...
Isaiah 45:9/paraphrased... "Can a clay pot complain and argue with its Maker that the Maker has no skill of making a better clay pot with a handle?"...
In other words, can we humans complain to God our creator, about why we have been created this way compare to others?... No, we have no right... as Christians (believers) we must accept WHO we are and HOW we are created by God... what matters most for us is to have a chance to obtain a SALVATION of IMMORTAL life with God... Amen.

Where exactly in the Bible does it say that the day of rest/worship is to be switched to Sunday? Isn't that an example of the early Christian church adopting pagan traditions to better assimilate/be safe in their secular countries and gain more converts to Christianity by slapping Christian terminology and concepts onto the pagan practices (such as keeping the pagan winter solstice practices but putting them under the banner of 'Christmas' with Christian explanations for why we do those practices)? Wouldn't Sunday as a day of Christian worship/rest be an adaptation from pagan worship of the Sun or Sun God?

These so called ‘categories’ in mosaic law You speak of, are not biblical, the Bible does not ever call any law ceremonial or moral. There are certainly laws that do not apply to us today but by no means are we not under any of God’s laws from the Old Testament. This is why 1 John 3:4 defines what a sin is: “sin is transgression of the law” the only law that existed then was the Old Testament mosaic laws. Obeying is how we show love to God (“If you love me, keep my commandments”) (some will come on that day saying lord lord we have done all this in your name. And he’ll say ‘depart from me you workers of LAWLESSNESS’).
The new covenant is just a change in PEOPLE, not the rules they need to obey to be blessed and show love to the Father. Grace is for when we fail to keep the mosaic laws that apply to us (not all will even apply to every person, there are ones for men/women/priests/temple; and we know Jesus is our high priest and also our sin sacrifice so those laws won’t apply at this time). But there are blessings that come to those who keep His commandments, and curses come upon those who don’t. They are important guidelines to live a prosperous life, this is why He gave them, they are not burdensome or something we need to be ‘freed’ from. This is what is actually in the Bible.
