Splendid episode!!! Seeing another “closet” full of fabulous pieces is a true adventure. I thoroughly enjoy hearing the stories behind each piece. Thank you!
Glad you kept the Adidas raincoat, Trinny! It's so unique & 'cool' looking but at the same time not overwhelming (it fits you well with the flattering waist cinching drawstring toggles, plus it harmonises with your complexion - just as you said).
Could tour your wardrobe for days on end, down to the last sock. What a joy this was. Beautiful clothing is such a special and evocative part of our lives. x
Oh my gosh Trinny! Such a treasure trove you have there. I could be lost in there for hours, wait you guys probably were. I'm so jealous. Looking forward to the next one.
Omg that skirt at 22:03 from Donna Karen is pretty much identical to my Trinny and Susannah skirt that I got from their range in Freeman's catalogue about 25/30 years ago! 😳 My boyfriend bought it for me for Christmas one year, I must've been around 18 or 19 I think...I have kept it all these years as I adore it!! (I kept the boyfriend too haha!!) I haven't been able to fit into it for about 20 years but I tried it on the other day as I was culling my wardrobe and I could actually fit into it! It's so beautifully made that I never wanted to get rid, love it!! ❤
Oh, Trinny and the girls! It was a fab episode, would love to see more of these dips into Trinny's treasure cave :). Love love the red patterned full-length mac/raincoat, i think its true statement and actually very cool piece, the same for blue leopard fur coat. Looking forward for the followups trying everything on...
Good one!!! But I think you need to be a bit more ruthless... remember 'dress for the women you are today'!!!! Also LOVE Molly's coat !!!! And when are we going to see a mother daughter style up again!!!! Would love to see how Lyla styles up what you are passing into her !!!!
Love those culling videos! So many beautiful items, but impossible to keep everything. I would have been more ruthless than Trinny was, but I understand why she wants to keep some of the items. I'm looking forward to the next video to see how she styles them.❤
Fabulous episode!!! Ruthless is good but it just shows the importance of having a second opinion around...I've made mistakes in the past of getting rid of thing I should have kept...can't wait for part two!! X
Have some MAJOR regrets about culling w/a friend😂. 😍Adore her, but she was RUTHLESS for all the WRONG reasons. Allowed her own style agenda & motivations to get in the mix. 🥺As a result felt PEER PRESSURED into donating statement pieces I adored that she NEVER approved of in the 1st place. These were high quality garments that 💯% came back en vogue too🤣. LESSON: Pick a person like Molly or Gemima who supports your personal ethos. Her team delights in her luxe maximalism. They enjoy her style, analysis & process. A militant minimalist won't share the same value for putting high quality gear on pause ⏸️ that she'll wish to rotate back in at another stage ♻️). Stick w/someone who understands that fashion cycles around 🔁. Also pick a person who knows YOU & YOUR style preferences INSIDE & OUT. Someone who will respect & honor that. Her brilliant helpers even knew what would appeal to Lyla too. 💚Bridget from Cali☘️ (using my pal's YT acct)
I loved this episode!! Thank you. And it is inspiring to see how as your style changes some of the clothes we have seen on other CC are not you any more. So helpful to review your/ my closet with this perspective!! Also: Be more ruthless! Cull the blue feathery Zara blazer. And give something to your two helpers!! ❤
So many beautiful things! I can understand your hesitation to get rid of things that you may want to wear in the future especially when you've had regret about getting rid of something in the past. But passing it on to your daughter is a wonderful idea. I don't have anywhere near your collection but I have always bought well made things in mostly classic styles and most from before the prevalence of fast fashion. I donated so many wonderful pieces that I still wish I'd kept not realising that they probably had generous seam allowances or could be remodelled or passed on to a friend or relative. So many young people are after vintage clothes compared to when we were in our 20s and 30s. I recently did a cull and passed on the better pieces to my 18yr old niece - she was so happy and found lots to keep but also could sell what she didn't want. I was happy to be certain the clothes wouldn't go to landfill.
I can't wait to see how you style the pieces you are taking back home. I wish I was in London so that I could go to Oxfam 😂😂😂. I also can't use Vinted UK from Portugal 😢, very frustrating.
Trinny please don’t alter your wedding dress absolutely beautiful the cut the shape just stunning I don’t know how you do it Trinny everything on you is just wow!!! Doesn’t matter the age the vintage you have style girl the the bubbly passionate personality too much and your lovely assistants are so funny just love watching and learning from you because most of us out here just are a little lost to find what really suits us even though your book contains a wealth of knowledge to help us to watch you just gives us a confidence boost too be brave and just give it a go thank you trinny
I have pieces from Zara from when it first opened. Every time I take them out, I’m astounded by how well made they were. Zara is so different now and that last campaign did me in. Sad.
Great episode and it makes me regret all the things I got rid of over the years not realising that one day they'd come back into fashion and I'd wear them again - sigh....
💯% agree 🤣. Greater regrets for the things I ELIMINATED (& later had to replace) vs the ones I STORED. Had a couple seasons of big weight fluctuations〰️ storage saved my bacon both times. It allowed me a fresh "new" wardrobe w/o breaking the bank💰. LESSONS: ¹Challenge yourself to style pieces that you're on the fence about w/your current set up. ²♻️As Trinny does, imagine how you could alter items to fit you & your lifestyle better. (Loving the lapel/pin hack to refresh her blazers.)⏱️Give yourself a time limit to do both. 🔄 SEASONAL ROTATION. Everyone needs a storage space to temporarily tuck clothes away. It might be under your bed in vacuum bags, high in a closet, or in a cedar trunk instead of going off-site. *Keep inventory. Number your bag, box, or bin & keep note of where store. That way, you can locate items in a pinch. REMEMBER: Sometimes you need a 🤞BREAK📦 from an item vs 👋BREAK UP💔. Snap a 📷pic & keep a digital file for reference. Think it's important to review upcoming trends as inspo for 🛒shopping your closet (or storage). CREATE SEASONAL CAPSULES. Pull out the silhouettes, accessories, & colors that are hot🔥. This exercise will get you to review your wardrobe w/a fresh 👁👁eye. It will make you look & feel like a ✨️new✨️ person too. It will keep you from boredom🥱 w/your clothes or style too. 💚Bridget from Cali☘️ (using my pal's YT acct)
Love this! Would love to know where the blue/ denim top is you are wearing in the video. Seen it lots on you but never managed to find where it’s from! Thanks x
If only you could have heard us. My sister, my niece and I were watching you sort through your things and responding by saying: keep that!!! keep that!!!, no…not that!!! sell that!!! Ohhhh that’s stunning!!!! Keep those shoes!!!!! Thank you for the fun of going through your things. We’ve all culled our wardrobe 3 months ago and feel so content, happy and clean. Sending our regards from Tirana Albania (moved here from Sydney Australia and loving it for different reasons)

This was so much fun to watch! A little nostalgic for many of us seeing some familiar pieces! Are the Stella platforms out because I’m still wanting a pair!
Keep all the Prada !!!! It makes me nostalgic for the days when you could go to Prada and buy a decent pair of shoes or a coat without the eye water price it is now !! And the quality back then was sooooo much better !!
So much fun! The wedding coat should remain just as it is! How about selling that? Some bride who loves recycling will LOVE that! Check with Lyla first though!
So fun, thank you for sharing✨ Love your gorgeous navy and chambray shirt🤩 If you rewatch this video, I’m guessing you’ll sell the saggy trousers you’re wearing, as they are not your best fit. Wishing you wonderful sales🌞
@@mizmelbourne😊Of course, Lyla will have her own unique fashion flair. Hopefully like her mother, she's developed a keen eye & value for vintage style too. If so, she'll know how to put her own spin 🔄 on any of these inherited duds too. 🧐Unless she's a trust fund baby, there will come a point she'll want to update her own wardrobe. Besides, even wealthy people can be frugal & save the planet🌏 too. It's expensive living in London, so she'll want to save in some areas, so she can splurge in others. 😉What better way than to shop from Trinny's amazing collection🛒. She'll likely have access to higher quality of staple garments as a result. Molly & Gemima love & value the cast-offs, so why wouldn't her daughter? 💚Bridget from Cali☘️ (using my pal's YT acct)

Don’t touch the wedding dress!!!!!! Keep as is. Just extraordinary.
Trinny don't touch it
I disagree better to get some wear put if it. It would be a stunning navy coat
