This woman is a creative genius and a vocal virtuoso. Her music was ubiquitous during my childhood so I've been a huge fan since early on, and grew up admiring her music. I knew her voice was good, as that's difficult to ignore, but never realized just how skilled of a vocal technician she actually is. I thought there must be other artists in the industry who are able to do everything she does, but there aren't. I also didn't know until adulthood that she has written or at least co-written nearly all of her music. I have such respect for her, and know her music will be talked about for decades and decades after she's gone.
Mariah can truly do no wrong. These for the early days were she was expressing herself truthfully in the world loved her for that. It was a pretty telling moment that she would be fine just being herself and expressing herself as fantastic as Mariah really is.
i love her during these era. I miss her like this. She has the combination of her shyness when she debut, her humble self, the sexy she is doing during honey era, the sophisticated Mimi during Emancipation and the diva persona. Show she's so full of herself. It's irritating.
