Coming from a burn survivor..I was on edge til I heard his mom was safe. I know what I went through fighting to get out of being trapped in a house fire so I can’t even imagine his mother being bed ridden not being able to help herself. So proud of this brave man with a broken hip at that springing into action to save his mother. God bless them

@@kevinc184 - 0:38 he says in the video that the only part the Helicopter cameras showed was where he was climbing down after reaching his mum and her telling him she was safe. They weren't watching/recording when he was climbing UP the building to reach her.
I think the point Kevin was making was, why not just wait there with his mom when he saw that she was alright? I may have climbed up there, but I was damn sure going to take the stairs back down when they unlocked those doors.

I really hope he got a chance to be interviewed by the fire station I know there's a physical test and hopefully the hip injury doesn't interfere with that but I'd like to see an update on whether or not the fire dept took a chance on him!!!
