Starts as a 2x1 and turns into a full on fort. :D The initial concept is good for very early game, I think the honeycomb would have to happen much faster to survive epocs 60-min to 5-hours
I like these YT base designs for their symmetry and being so easy to operate from. For raid protection, and lets face it, most times you get off lined, I would store my shit not in base. But I love 2x1 ones that can expand to such a good base to operate from.
2x2 is goated, you can make so many nice bases from the footprint.

What do you mean by "I would store my shit not in base"? Do you mean satchels? Last time I relied on those for overnight protection I discovered the hard way that cheaters always have eyes on their locations. Has that not been an issue for you?
@@Goblexter It sure has. There is no easy way to protect against cheaters, but caves, and even spreading stuff in ie ext TC's and/or flanking bases works (content of TC not worth the cost of boom). And no, I am not primarily thinking of satchels, but gear, comps and mats to rebuild and feed TCs. In short, operating costs. :)

Very nice base for the past two weeks I’ve been looking for an efficient simple but advance base, this is perfect in my opinion! A few upgrades I intend to make is replacing the wood compounds with stone gates with two one by one foundations three walls up on all four sides, this in a sense will serve as a china wall in a way as you can go up the walls and use the gate as a way to peek out of your compound whilst making it more expensive to raid I’ll keep y’all updated on how it goes.

I thought the same thing, this is taking entirely too long to do...... Might be easy to do as admin of the private server you're doing it on, but on a vanilla server......we aint messing around that long to get stuff dealt with

have you tried to more shotgun traps underneath covering the door by just using one more square it is impossible to get in without getting shot if you put the ladder right by the door when entering as the shotgun trap will get you from the side and using two more triangles one on each side will allow them to cover side to a very large degree and can hold the furnace to keep them from coming in easily.
This is easily one of the best bases design I’ve ever seen

I really like the way you demonstrated the placement of embrasures and why at about 9:45.
I have a five man build that can house an 8 man that is this core. Lasted four wipes with my group and was not once full raided. Took 220 rockets on one wipe(Obviously with sealing during the raid). Only thing i have encounter as a negative is sometimes the stability is weird when getting to roof.

all those peeks and stuff to get offlined 2 times really liked how the base looked , built it on 3x server with more hqm and still they went for core directly on a solo server more turrets etc as soon as i come back on im already offlined and i see the body bags laying arround.
Raided this exact base design last night, it forced us to go through doors, they were the cheap sheet metal ones luckily for us.
It seems to me that any basic structure is easy to raid, if it is not fully built🤔
Im sure it was an offline too.

One issue is that you won't be able to repair the glass because of the boxes. Maybe armored double doors opening inward would work better
What about the gmod tool?
You just need to have 2 glass and Switch when you the one on the window
if they get to that point the last thing you are going to worry is about the glass xD

Move the boxes if it get broken let's face after a raid. The boxes will be empty anyway.

With only 90500 stone you too can live in a 2x1 with triangles
this can be significantly improved with shotgun traps in the fillers in the stairs.
damn I tried that box placement near TC at the bottom and cannot reach TC after both boxes are down
I make this on pc different I place a rug at the bottom side and then 2 chest in it and the upper part of the window I block away with chests so you have a hidden tc tada
Maybe build roof access on both of the sides, or just build jump ups on the same side twice.
Then if someone knows this design, they don't know which side the TC is on.

I always use oilrats base now, its almost identical as you are building here. Just stronger with sandwitch layers and the bunker can be turned into suicide-bunker to be even more strong 😀 Check it out 👍 Also provides more hidden loot locations with inner peaks. I've been raided like 15 times this year, and survived 14 times, only a clan got TC once, but no loot. Core is always empty. They trying to go doors and down, but then its HQM floor, then HQM ramps and another HQM roof cause of layers 😂 And easy for a 4th stone honeycomb at the end if you like! You can easy hide loot in small box in the two bedrooms in 3rd floor on the sides behind lockers. It has always worked against offliners. A corner in 3rd floor you can have a box under WB3 further behind and box again under WB3, they never find the innerbox either 😂Another tip for doors: you can just have a window instead of a garagedoor to each exit. Like one on each side after the singledoors if you do the Oilrats base. Every online is supereasy to defend then. Swapping windows cause they got no 30sec timer like a door. And if they throw c4 or satchels, you can remove a window and replace a new and the boom falls on the wall. Thrust me its hilarious 😅 Also stronger than a garagedoor when you log off to, just have small boxes to autocrouch through for easier access. I could write an essay about this base, so many tricks..off to bed, just wanna share some experience. Aye; if they raid from the sides, just have the best loot in a small box in the opposite airlock. Even if they go through all floors, they dont find it, been there done that. Best base i've had in years now 🙂 Great video, subbed!

@@ricterise I only build the 3 floors, bedrooms with innerpeaks. Not the outerframes stuff, thats to much for a solo :) So after 7:25 I dont build anymore except heligarage on the roof and maybex2 external tc's! I have tweaked it a lot to make it stronger. But the base is really good, with 3 walls to core and many exits and tricks and a bunker. Cant ask for more :) I might make a tutorial of my own tbh soon.

expensive for what you get but probably ok for a 4 man. All the cracks looking down into the shooting floor is a yikes without turrets. ehh i wouldnt do it but its not bad
i have to say that i love this concept base but my main question is how doy you conect all the turrets? because i'm kind of a slow learner on electricity

I've been using a design almost identical to this for a very long time. I think people are severely disappointed when they find out they spent all that to raid what is essentially a 2x1 lol

How many triangles can someone add until it stops being a 2x1?
I built a base exactly like this on an icy mountain, except with a shotgun trap in front of TC, and a hacker tele'd to me while I was in the base and died from shells. I outlasted their shenanigans, and after their base decayed I stole the recycler they hacked in. Which was stupid, they had line of sight with a recycler monument.
I don't see how this qualifies as a 2x1, when it's enormous.
Would take some serious boom to get into the core. 👍

building this base rn. but my outer triangle foundations at 8:30 are decaying. is it because i havent kept building up to shooting floor or what am i missing?

some windows you put like for the large boxes and for lockers are useless i think it would be smarter to put a garage door
can someone explain why do you want external tc connection to be breakable with roof? What do you get out of it?
If and when you get raided, they will destroy the main TC in the base. When you then want to retake the base afterwards, you need to Disconnect/destroy the Outer TCs to place a new one in the base. This way its easy to do so you dont have to destroy the outer TCs to place the main TC. Just disconnect, place new, reconnect and you're safe again.
Ah yeah, I built one of these a year ago, except at 15:39 we put them on the other side. Anyway, the base worked okay I guess.
