Agreed, I was shocked when big teams such as Blackburn, Charlton or even Sunderland can't fill their own stadium. In this league, teams always fill their stadium with passion supporters.
@@DoncasterFootballBlackburn is 10x smaller than koln obviously they don’t have anywhere near as many fans especially with the proximity to manchester. Sunderland is also 5x smaller than koln. Sunderland has a smaller population than kharlsruhe but has a higher average attendance.

I traveled to Germany from America and this was my first ever match attended. I get it now. This sport is much better live than on tv and a better atmosphere than any American sport.
