Ace, I bring all 4 types of missiles and change them based on weakest resists of Abyssal ships. Usually choose the weakest armor resist. If resists are even, I don't change what is already loaded. On the Overmind, The Shield weakest is Thermal, and also Armor is low, so that would be the missiles I would load.
Choosing the missile type per resists range of abyssal ships is key, it' my Tip of the Day Ace I will link you my Cyclone Fit ingame I solo lvl 3 security missions. You need to try out.
Are missiles the most effective for abyssal runs? Just trying to find the best weapon type for over. I already have some skills for projectile weapons but Idk if maybe there’s a weapon type that’s better In all situations. Rather than an either or situation like short or long range // cannons or artillery
I use missiles here because in the dark sites turet range is reduced so id hardly be able to hit anything if i was using turrets. otherwise missiles are alright, small are best imo becuase medium ones have a very hard time applying to small stuff
Personally, I think you needed an ancillary armor repair and damage control instead of fitting so much dps. A lot of the best Talwar fits use a hybrid tank.
I wish the talwar didn't have such a tight fit. I would like to fit all my goodies on it, but the CPU just won't let me! Edit: The MWD really hogs CPU, too. The fitting is just crazy on these bad boys.
@@Aceyface I tried 2x kestrels in t2 dark, didn't have enough DPS, got 2x rooms in a row with a battleship, took about 10 mins to go through the first room, second room I blew up, hehe.
The Talwar does get MWD Sig Radius bonuses.
Imma try and maybe fit a Talwar for T2 and see how I do.

as an alpha this does not work, rocket range caps out 16km with one guidance computer and maxed alpha missile skills

take 3 garmurs in the dark, orbit gate at 15. done
Rocket range is too short for some NPC, cause they run away and keep me at range, impossible to kill it and I die.
I'm trying to work out a t2 using two frigates, hmmm.
which type of frigates? a retribution has a very easy time doing t2 SOLO :D
