- Hi and happy New year to all so just a quick update. Dam has it got cold down hear the last week pond temp is as low as i have ever seen it but fish doing well. this video is just to let you know why i have not been around much this past months.

Thanks to all hear for the best wishes I'm coping with things and have pain most days for a good number of hours and have to manage it and even paying for an Op its going to be two months before the knife

Martyn it’s horrible being in limbo waiting for news of the results of tests. That alone can drag you down and coupled with continuous pain is horrific. 🤞your op is soon and your recovery swift. You’ll be fighting fit in no time and ready for a great ponding season 🤗
I had been wondering where you are. At least you now know what whats wrong. Made me smile when you talked about the blockage. Helps us koi keepers to understand without medical terms!

Hi Martyn, I had my gallbladder removed several years ago (I'm 46 now) I haven't changed my diet or anything. I can honestly say that I live a normal life but without the flare ups I got every few months with it in. Good luck 👍

Hi Martyn, Wow1 mate, sorry to hear you've not been well. I had the exact same thing by the sound of it. I had pain for 4 years and they couldn't find out what it was, until I started passing out with the pain. They eventually operated and found gallstones, which they removed along with my gallbladder. I was eventually told, I was lucky I was still here, as nobody has gallstones for 4 years. Any way, all good now mate, they'll soon have you sorted mate. Good to see you back and pottering around. Don't do too much until you feel like you can. You take care and stay warm, Terry.

Sorry to hear you was unwell mate , I know how you feel my wife had the same thing, she had the operation ,, but still could not go back Eating the things she love. So had to stick to her low fat diet. Anyway take it easy and look after yourself. Nice to see you back on the channel. 👍👍

Yes, you never know what’s going to pop up to get you.
I had kidney stones and never again the pain I spent most of my time standing against the bedroom wall with pain.
My son had biliary colic gallstones he had ERCP treatment first he said it dissolves them that did not work so he had surgery he was in surgery for around 1hour.
A couple of years later he had the problem again with pain through the night this time they took the gallbladder out. You will be better than new once its done.

Hi Martyn glad to hear it’s not the big C I’m so behind with everyone channels I know what stones are like my son had them (to many Energy Drinks) and he still drinks them 🤦♂️ but at least you can get them treated good luck 😉

I wrote a whole piece as my missus had her gall bladder removed 3 weeks ago, and then decided to delete it.
Hopefully your experience will be a lot better than her's 🙂

Martyn, Kudos to you. I have watched your channel for a couple of years now and kept watching due to your enthusiasm and tips. I hope you get well soon and continue to pump out the content in the spring and coming summer. I do have a channel that has been running for a number of years, but it is a little different to yours. It is related to Koi and ponds, but I also attempt to bring in the gardening part of it (probably a little unsuccessfully to be honest!) Anyway, over the last few years I have researched and looked into enviromental sustainability including renewable energy and energy efficiency. Although at a personal level, I do not profess to operate my home any where near as efficently as it could be (due to financial constraints) I possess the understanding how to. Like yourself, my profession is related to education.
