    Thank you for this!! I just ditched my Nest for an ecobee and was looking for Home/Away options inside of HomeKit. Your video helped me achieve this in about two minutes utilizing Scenes. Subscribed :)

    omg I hated this thermostat for the one reason, you couldn’t resume the schedule, ty for the help

    One key that is very important is to build the scene via the Homekit Integration in the Ecobee app. Do not build the scene via the Homekit app on you iPhone or Mac. If you use that interface you will only see a temperature adjustment capability. If you have a multiple iPhone home you can use the Homekit Integration to determine if the home is empty and set the Ecobee to away. If any single iPhone comes home, you can resume schedule.

    Thank you very much this is antic , Apple removed this in iOS 16. Van they ever fix something without damaging something else? NO
