    It must be superior to trump 3rd round of club in dummy even if ops overruff. We will then keep control of hand when clubs are 4-2.

      Hi George,
      Thanks for your comment. Yes, you are right! If the clubs are 4-2 then you keep control by ruffing a club on the dummy. This line might cost you a trick if the hand with short clubs also has short spades and can over-ruff dummy cheaply. As a 3-3 club break is less than 50%, I think your line is better, albeit not bulletproof. Perhaps I was swayed/influenced by being able to see that clubs were in fact 3-3!
