You must be deaf because this is a European recording and speaking throughout the video and he also says stewie played like he was washed up. He said stewie was a good change for g2 because he kept the team positive and helped Niko with ideas. He also played with no ego for entry, knowing he’s not as good as the other players in the match sacrificed himself for niko and monesy to play off his death/ info from his entry nearly every round.
there is a single player in all of NA that is slighty capable of playing proper CS and everyones going nuts, for what? stewie didnt even perform, he was just there, anyone could have had his stats...

That's exactly why G2 won this tournament. Do you know just how impactful crowd support is in game? Sure the Americans were pretty much just cheering on the washed guy who is probably their regions greatest ever player, but along the way they cheered for G2 as a whole and that was huge for them.
His game sense is intact. What he needs is elige's aim training routine. Unironically, stewie could come back to tier 1 permanently if he just fragged a little better.
Most assumptions in this video are bold and not really based on anything. If he played practically exactly like Hooxi, but is not an IGL and doesn't have a tactical depth to back his poor stats up, who the hell would want to sign him? It was a great Cinderella run in his home country, but all the heavy-lifting was done by finally woken up Niko and Hunter and astonishing Monesy, leaving Nexa and Stewie to do the bare minimum. And I hate that their victory seems to be perceived as Stewie's crazy impact, leading people to think he belongs to top-team just because absolute superstars carried him to the trophy. He basically showed the same level in Legacy, the only difference was, once again, his teammates. No disrespect, but he was just "happy to be here" guy in g2 (he kinda said it himself), but people are making his run look like his show just because he used to be a legend and NA hero.
Who cares, as long as Stewie does what makes him happy. That being said.. I would love to see more of him in pro cs, he's a great character to have in the scene. Even if it were to be in other roles such as commentary. I think he still has some years left in competitive cs if he wants it though.

If Stew wants to play, Col would be a good fit. Even with Hallzerk re-signing this week, GStew can rifle, awp, or fill whatever role is needed.
I don't know who you're kicking on Col to make that work. Especially at present, he's not better than any player on Col at their respective role.

Under performed for a guy who is not an active player. Obviously that is expected but like the pros say, stats are not everything.
Too old? Are you high orrrr? It was his first time playing tier 1 CS in years, of course he underperformed, but you are also ignoring he was the space maker for G2 and did his job wonderfully. He just knows Niko and m0nesy are the stars and he tried his hardest to enable them.

Stop suggesting any kind of collaboration between Brazil and the rest of the world. Fact: No non-brazilian player has EVER enhanced a Brazilian team. Stewie in particular was already tried once. Hell, no Brazilian player has ever even enhanced a non-Brazilian team! Remember TACO on Liquid? coldzera on Faze?? Disasters. Wastes of time for everyone involved. It does not work due to communication issues and fundamental style differences. skullz is repeating that pattern on Liquid right now, no doubt for a brief period only. Brazilian CS only works on a 100% Brazilian team.
Brazil hasn't won anything in like a decade.

Feel like both are true. He's done wonders for the NA scene in terms of the bandwagoning interest. He's also possibly the single most overrated player in the region's history.
