Carbon Black Grit Reduction Mill

The Mikro e-ACM Air Classifying Mill is an air swept impact mill with a dynamic air classifier. However, unlike standard ACM mills, this system has the ability to process Carbon Black. Traditional impact mills struggle to process carbon black due its low density and ultra-fine particle size. Carbon Black is a material used in many different products, such as tires, rubber, plastics, and liquids. Carbon Black is created as residue from an incomplete combustion of petroleum products.
In carbon black production furnaces, grit and other agglomerates are created, reducing the strength and value of the material.
