Thats because in the london version of the revival they saw hamilton being so popular and were like oh i guess rap is in so they made rum tum tugger a rapper in london
@@devotedcetacean6568 Yeah not even a little bit true. Hamilton didn't even start of broadway previews till 2015, and didn't move to Broadway till August 2015. Tugger change happened in 2014. Webber thought Tugger was dated and boring and wanted to shake up the character and make the show a but more modern. It didn't work, obviously, as "Street Tugger" was completely phased out for the original "Rock Tugger" by 2016. Regardless, it had absolutely nothing to do with Hamilton.
After watching so many Mistoffelees I have to say this is one of my favourites. His leaps and jumps are just so amazing! He is truly wonderful and marvelous
I went to this show on January 2nd 2015 for my birthday and I can guarantee it was beyond amazing I have alot of the merch and a few of the casts signatures
Even though tigger looks stupid af here, at least the choreography is unchanged. I’m not happy that in the broadway revival that most of the choreography was altered... how ridiculous

I appreciate that even with their weird attempt to update the rum tum tugger they still let him and misto have their obvious chemistry
