It seems there's no difference between player gender. The female Ritsuka is always treated as the little sister. There are a lot of words that can be used to spell sibling in Japanese but they specifically use "兄妹" in this context, which means older brother and younger sister.

We know that someone from Proper Human History can go and be a part of the Servantverse, this is what happened to Ciel. Why she's called archangel of the seas? Might have to do with one of her Noble Phantasms that Anki-gal has. It was called the most beautiful sea of stars to be ever created. Her idealized underworld. Kinda forgot the specifics, it was in the wiki. I admit, just a theory tho. There's that time gap that I can't explain cuz it's implied the archangel was here for a while but we know where Eresh was before awakening as a Beast. Might be some fuckery with time tho.
