*Packaging* . Kudos to Trader Joe's for doing the pop up top, that's a 10/10 win in my book. I love a body scrub and body butter, but lets be real, the screw top is not optimal when your hands are greasy. The scrub looks like a winner, hope I can score a tub. Thanks for the review!
i’m not worried about the dupes smelling the same or having the same consistency… I am eager to know if they reduce the appearance of cellulite equally. Do u know? Thanx!
Really good question, so I did a deeper dive into the ingredients and how they relate to firming and skin smoothing results (not just the scent). I do find them both to have similar results on my skin, the appearance and smoothness of my legs always looks basically the same immediately after use. Here is what I found with comparing the two: *Sol De Janeiro Bum Bum Cream brand description shows first and then the Trader Joe's Brazil Nut Body Butter comparison of those KEY INGREDIENTS. SDJ BUM BUM CREAM: 1. Helps visibly smooth and tighten the appearance of your skin thanks to potent, caffeine-rich Guaraná Extract 2. Fast-absorbing Cupuaçu Butter delivers deep hydration and essential fatty-acids deep into the skin, making this incredibly hydrating cream an instant treat to leave your skin feeling silky soft. 3. Antioxidant-packed ingredients like Guaraná Extract and Açaí Oil help prevent environmental damage on your skin. 4. Infused with Brazil Nut Oil, the most selenium-rich food in the world, to help support the skin's natural ability to protect itself while giving it the glow of healthy-looking skin. TRADER JOE'S BRAZIL NUT BODY BUTTER: 1. Guarana Extract (caffeine) - includes this key ingredient 2. Cupuaçu Butter - not included but instead have Coconut oil and Shea Butter as fatty acid support 3. Guaraná Extract and Açaí Oil - includes antioxidants Açaí Oil and Guarana Extract 4. Brazil Nut Oil - includes bertholletia excelsa seed oil-a.k.a. Brazil nut seed oil Looks like TJ's is a good comparison of the firming ingredients.
I’m so flipping jealous because I cannot find the scrub. 😒 but I’m so happy for you to have found it. I “warm up” the butter in my hands prior to applying and it works perfectly for me. For $6 as opposed to $48 I’m all for it. P.S. how dare Red Robin! 😂😂
You’re soo right, the SDJ cream is STRONG in scent. If you’re working or in class then everyone can smell it and it might be too intense for other people. It does smell amazing though. The Trader Joe’s version is perfect for when we don’t want to smell that intense.
😂😂 I want to and was tempted in the shower but the oils (for my acne probe skin) would make my face break out like crazy 😂 maybe if your skin won’t break out it could be ok to use super gently
@@LifeOnLife59 I really like a very gentle cleanser that doesn’t make our skin produce extra oil, like aquanil or cetaphil. Then I use Malezia for my acne breakouts overnight. I also like many of The Ordinary products because they work and cost a lot less. I like the glycolic acid a few times a week to help clear my skin too.

You read my mind! Several times I need to wipe down a container to open it up because my hands are soo slippery 😂
But wow the scrub won me over ❤️❤️

I prefer the Trader Joe’s version versus the boom, boom cream plus the boom boom cream is way too strong for me.
