You need to have friends or family stream, Even if its lurking. Affiliate isn't something to stress about, I got Affiliate in 3 weeks aswell! Its the Partner goals that I'm worried about. Short term goals are good, but what good are short term goals if you dont know how to approach your long term goals. Interact. Talk to people! Try and get to know your viewers! Don't spam links... I made that mistake and it tainted my brand for about a week and a half, because it makes people think that its a chore to watch you rather then watch you just for fun! :)

yes! The game I stream has about 25-30 streamers at any given time. In 5 weeks I'm in the top 3. I just completed the Path To Partner and filled out my application. Fingers x'd!

Eat Me The process really isn’t too difficult. You only need 50 followers, and an average of 3 viewers per stream. If you have made any friends on the platform, tell them about your streams. If you feel comfortable telling people you know IRL about your streaming endeavors do that. There were times when I would only average 1-2 viewers, and that’s fine. Sometimes you will have no viewers. It’s all a part of the process, just keep going at it and you’ll make it eventually! I would just say, try to stream somewhat consistently. Stream like 4+ days/nights a week, because you are more likely to be on twitches “discover” page then. Personally I have taken a break from twitch for awhile due to work + work related problems that conflict with my schedule and how often I’d like to stream, I do intend on going back to streaming sometime soon! Make sure you also have a PayPal set up, so then when you are affiliated you can start making some money off the streams. Twitch will send you a payment every 100 dollars you make, which at first, will take awhile, as bits and subs are the only way you can get money, but within a few weeks-a month and a half you should see your first payout. + When you do get affiliated, it’s worth investing in someone to make emotes for you (unless you yourself are good at digital art). I would suggest the website Fiverr, there are a lot of artists that specifically work on twitch emotes, and they’re splendid looking, without costing too much. Finally, another thing to look into is making a discord server. Discord servers can connect the streamer with their audience when they aren’t live, to where you have more interaction. Plus you can watch videos on how to set up bots, to inform your discord server of when you go live. It will boost your success quite a bit in my opinion.

You will get reviewed (but they won't tell you, as long as you don't break the rules you should be fine) then you will need to fill a form, giving info about yourself and tax info aswell

I believe you'd lose the progress because imagine if you stream 7 days in june, then get 3 average viewers in july, then stream for 8 hours in august, then reach 50 followers in september. It doesn't follow the "Past 30 days" rule at all. To quote twitch "When you meet a requirement, a checkmark will appear under Path to Affiliate. If you lose any checkmarks, you'll need to complete those requirements again. Once you have all 4 checkmarks, we'll display an invite button on your Achievements page and email you."

Actually, the 3 people need to have a Twitch account. If your friends don't want to open an account because they are just going for you. Well, that won't count. Sad news.

Yup, payroll comes when you reach 100, it doesn't the month, like let's say if you get 95 this month, in September you only need 5 to get the payment and the payment will come in the mid of next month so in October
When I’m live I average 5 viewers a day or more but when I stopped the stream and I go to past broadcast I see it says 2 views so is it early viewers that watch
