It lifts up the casters at an angle allowing the casters to spin freely. Hope this helps! Def should post something on it when you finish it

So the lever sets your drift so when you go try and turn your wheel one way while you pull the lever and then steer the other way to correct the drift, it can be pretty hard at first by once you get the hang of it it gets easier
