WALKING CORPSES - UNCLE DANNY AND FRIENDS STRIKES AGAIN aka GRIND BIRTHDAY PRESENT TO ČURBY

Hi everybody, Dan Lilker here.
I have a special announcement to make regarding this year’s edition of Obscene Extreme. To commemorate the 25th anniversary of OEF, as well the 50th birthday of my good friend and the man behind OEF, Curby, I will be doing a special set. This came about last year when I was at Brutal Assault and was hanging with my friend Bilos. I wanted to do something special for Čurby’s 50th / 25 year anniversary and came up with the idea to play the 1st Brutal Truth record, Extreme Conditions Demand Extreme Responses, in its entirety as I know Čurby loves this record. He also saw us back in the day when we toured with Pungent Stench and Macabre. I ran the idea by Bilos & he agreed it would be something cool and unique to do and offered to do vocals as well as finding a drummer / guitarist that are well versed in the art of grindcore. The band will be called Walking Corpses since it is technically not Brutal Truth. This is an exclusive one-off for two special occasions for my mate Čurby.

Ahoj všichni, tady Dan Lilker.
Mám pro vás speciální oznámení týkající se letošního ročníku Obscene Extreme. Na počest 25. výročí OEF a také 50. narozenin mého dobrého přítele a člověka, který stojí za OEF, Čurbyho, zahraji speciální set. Vzniklo to loni, když jsem byl na Brutal Assaultu a bavil se s kamarádem Bilosem. Chtěl jsem udělat něco zvláštního k Čurbyho padesátinám a 25- letému výročí. Přišel jsem s nápadem zahrát první desku Brutal Truth, Extreme Conditions Demand Extreme Responses, kompletně celou, protože vím, že Čurby tuhle desku miluje. Taky nás viděl kdysi, když jsme jeli turné s Pungent Stench a Macabre. Předhodil jsem ten nápad Bilosovi a on souhlasil, prý by to bylo něco skvělého a jedinečného, a nabídl mi, že by se postaral o vokály a našel bubeníka / kytaristu, kteří se dobře vyznají v grindcorovém umění. Kapela se bude jmenovat Walking Corpses, protože to technicky vzato není Brutal Truth. Jedná se o exkluzivní jednorázovku pro dvě speciální příležitosti pro mého kamaráda Čurbyho.
Tak doufám, že se tam uvidíme!!!
