- Hi all
join me on another fishing session in a cold Hopkins river. I catch 3 species in this video. I also display the type of lure's I used to catch them. Unfortunately the first few minutes only capture the not so good start to the fishing session where I break my Daiwa 732 SK fishing rod tip. hope you enjoy and thanks for watching.
Rods used in this fishing session
Daiwa SK 732 ulfs 4 pound fluorocarbon straight through
Shimano Zodias 6ft 11 6 pound leader & braid.
camera gear
Gopro hero 11
rode wireless microphone
Well done Mr T. The fishing skills are masterful. Good to see you alive and well and on the water,
Gday Mr foreman.

Hopefully you enjoy mate. I have just started making fishing videos. Always mainly did camping or travelling videos. It’s all a bit of fun. Hopefully I will make a few more of down the track.
can you explain to me how it snapped? it didnt look like it had much pressure, am i wrong? i hope the sk 732 isnt brittle, i want to buy it.

Unfortunately, no I can’t explain it. I was keen to look back at my footage when I got home to see how I did it, but I personally couldn’t see how I was at fault. I had footage leading right upto that incident but I didn’t bother adding it to the video. My rod is out of warranty now so I didn’t worry about trying for a claim. I have 3 sk rods and they all have caught me plenty of fish. They are good rods, you can feel plenty of vibration through the stick but you have to be super carful with the tips as they all have very fine tips. Definitely would recommend trying the sk range but treat with care 👍
Thanks for watching.
@@craigtsadventures7414 thanks for the info, I don’t think I’ll buy it. I have an infeet s, they seem a bit more hardy. I’m only 13, $300 plus on a rod would hurt if I snapped it.
