i tried singing that opera part which is my favourite part of the song and i almost lost my voice trying to do the high bits lol mind you unlike her who was belting out the voice i was doing the "quiet' version. i think in order to not be croaky as well as loss of sound you need to belt the opera notes

I didn't realise Kylie's voice was so good, she can really hit some good notes. She doesn't get enough credit for her voice.
The length of her career at this point is really only comparable to Madonna's. But where Madonna's gone way off the track and alienated most of her listening base, Kylie has been consistent for over 30 years. It's delightful..

Where as Kylie will reinvent herself by fusing other genres with her tried and true Dance music to create something, while different, is still undeniably, Kylie

Excuse me, it wasn't Madonna's playbook. Many many performers have had long and wonderful careers by re-inventing themselves. Yes, Madonna has done it very well, but so has Kylie. It is a shame that the replies that suggest Kylie isn't a big star fail to recognize that in most other countries of the world, she is huge, just has never caught on here. Personally, I find the bickering about one or the other tiring. I'm glad they both exist and are both going strong.
Love this performance, of course. But I've always thought, "Did they just not have it in the budget to costume the guys???" That's happened a few times over the years.
