Does this model cover the entire spectrum of codes (i.e. P/B/C/U)? I have a friend that has a 2011 RX350, and the windows (and sunroof) randomly open by themselves. I think for that I would need something that reads body codes?
Excellent review, only complaint I have about this tool (mine is the 808 version) is that it doesn't perform biderectional component activation on my car. I need to test the electrical fan to see does it operate properly and this tool does not have this function. This is quite disappointing, so if you are thinking of purchasing one make sure you are aware of the tool's limitations.

Great video, I am having a hard time understanding some guys who sell Autel products claiming this particular model is not a US model and that if something goes wrong with it you won't be getting any technical support in the US! This is a good scanner and it seems to do a very good job for the price like any other US model. Have you experienced any issues as far as getting technical support in the USA?
All cars sold in the US required to have OBD diagnostic starting 1996. The amount of data you can get from cars back then was very limited. So the tool can only read the data that the car is capable of monitoring.

Very disappointing that you chose to show one of the systems without a fault code when there were at least two that showed a fault. Why would you not choose one of those to show how this scanner worked?
Yes but continue to work I’ve got an autel 2007 for Mercedes sprinters and it worked excellent now I’m working on 2020 -.2023 Ford transits and I need to get something updated for $550 on amazon it’s really hard to beat this can even program key fobs, transmission speeds
Check out the price of scan tools repair shops use. This tool really won't cut it as the only code/scanner in a shop! The ones they use cost between 1500 and 12,000.00 !! The shops also need more than one scanner! So now you know why it costs so much to have your car worked on!! Also all the convenience of modern cars are part of the reason it costs soo much to work on your car! I love how the scan tool companies are trying to convince the public they can buy a scan tool and that tool will just tell them what is wrong with there car! Lol Its all a big lie to sell tools to public. Think about it! If it was as easy as plugging in a tool why would we need shops? I wish it was that easy then we wouldn't be spending thousands of hours and cash learning the trade!

silly question but I didn't see a place to turn on and off the evap purge valve or vent valve manually, does the 808 not do that?

Very poor on biditectional component activation. I have one and it cannot turn on and off the cooling fan.
