- Best-of-3 series of top level StarCraft 2 between Cure (Terran) and herO (Protoss). Both of these South Korean pro gamers are some of the best in SC2 and they are very familiar with each other's playstyle. In this series herO decides to play very aggressive games, by bringing out old build orders such as the Void Ray proxy but with a modern twist.

chaotic games of herO and cure's constant aggression will always provide a good set of matches.
"Hurricane Engine" is nice, but I would go "Typhoon Tracks" for the upgrade name.

Christie's chassis would be an awesome reference to real world soviet tech it was used for example in BT 5, BT 7 etc the main advantage was the fact that even if the vehicle loses its tracks it can still drive. Please call the upgrade "Christie's chassis"
My personal choice was "Axiom Turbine". Originally I had "Gas Turbine" (for a gas turbine engine) but it's a bit boring and doesn't roll off the tongue.

Reworks the Cyclone specifically to make it fun and useful against Protoss.
Cyclones become really powerful against Zerg.
The Terrans die to a specific Protoss cheese strat that Cyclones used to be good against.

Cyclones upgrade should be called hurricane "thruster" and it should give them an exhaust pipe that occationally shoots a little flame 😃

As much as I am disappointed that Terran mech ain’t as good still, I love the fresh balance patch gameplay.
Yeah, I was actaully worried about another disruptor nerf when protoss was already losing often to terran, but for now the patch seems interesting, with the new strategies.
@@lvo9197new cyclone just means that Terran blocks Protoss scouting more cheaply in the early game, otherwise it’s still EMP stim bio a-move
People keep saying this, but Terran mech keeps winning on ladder, so I dunno.

Also love the different perspective on Hero's attack in the second game - for Harstem it was total Terran domination 🤣
"Hurricane Engine" yeah Cyclone being a wheeled vehicle would make sense. (I don't know why wiki called their propulsion type as caterpillar tracks)
Because they have caterpillars, they just happen to be rounder than usual.

Cure was winning the entire game practically lol. Maybe you could argue right before hero lost the probes but even then…
The void ray proxy is actually not good at all. Its just that the Terran did a failed proxy reaper build which not only didn't do much damage to the probes, it also heavily delayed the factory production. There is no way in a proper build would Protoss be able to produce the same amount of void rays as Terran producing cyclones. Cyclones is the same tier as Stalkers and Stargate is one tech beyond Factory. Terrans should have at least 3-4 cyclones if he didn't proxy the barracks and had the barracks pre build a reactor or techlab. He could also have produced marines on top of it if the barracks was at home. Also, new cyclones may be weaker, they are actually stronger at countering void ray rush because unlike the old ones, you can now mass lock-on on the same unit. If he had 3-4 cyclones, he would easily mass lock-on on that 1 void ray and destroy it very quickly. Even if he had went for bio build, a ton of marines could defend until vikings are out.

Huh what do you mean Loko Terran have so many ways to deal with that cheese in Game 1 - Widow mines, reactored cyclone or marines, reactor Vikings etc.
I know shocker Terran will need to build more than one unit to deal with it but I’m sure they will have no issues figuring it out.

Actually, straight up goliaths would make mech much more viable than the cyclone. Terran mech is missing a good ranged dps. Cyclones are flimsy and have lowish dps. To be effective they need to be constantly kiting. That does not work at all with Tanks and Hellbats.

Has "hurricane rotors" been suggested? Since the upgrade speeds up the cyclone, they are gonna need better rotors to slow down.

Hurricane Supercharger/turbocharger seems to be the obvious choice if you still want something that involves air and an internal combustion engine. Hurricane fuel injectors maybe. But the cyclone traverses around in space. It must use an electric motor instead. I don't think the amount of air it carries around with it is nearly enough to power the engine as well as keep its occupants alive in space. So maybe Hurricane Flux Capacitors lol. Hurricane Battery Pack/Hurricane Fuel Cells. Hurricane Super Capacitors.

Loko is a great caster, my only complaint is that the colors of the players are always blue and red and i know for a fact when you play starcraft and record replays there are more colors available than that.

It is a sad day indeed, when the only viable counter for the new unit so far, is ages old cheese, one that everyone, Protoss included, hated.
At the very least, this should spur Blizzard to take action. Protoss having one viable cheese seems to always anger them.
Doesn't game two show how unbalanced mules are? Hero has him mining one base but because of mules he is still ahead in income. How is one base beating 2 base a win condition in an RTS?

Because it wasn't 1 base Vs 2 base for very long & you are trying to make it sound bad to justify your bias which is probably based off being too lazy too learn a build order and losing to better players.
I would admit that I am biased towards zerg - but in terms of game balance I am unsure how one race having "free" enhanced miners is good game design. Imagine if protoss got 15 gas per trip or something? I think that would greatly unbalance the races. I don't even play anymore so chill out aggressive spacecowboy fanboy. @@hivetech4903
