Hello, I usually export to OBJ, then import it into lumion. But some times, when I import it, it doesn't have separate colors like I painted it in 3ds max, but only shows 1 color. But sometimes it shows all the colors I added when importing. I also don't understand why this is so. I have only used basic colors for the sides and have not used any fancy materials. I used your method but it was ok, but for complex models, EX to FBX, it lost many polygons. How can I EX to OBJ and still show the polygons in different colors?

Where did you got (AK-VRmtl to standard) from? and what if you work in Mental ray?
Even if it is in mental ray. The script only imports the diffuse of the materials
what you mean by materials are textures only.............. i guess it doesnt export gloss, reflection, bump ....etc??
