The name of the protagonist is Adam, which hints at him being the person who will bring a new world order, with time travel. So I never thought I'd be pumped about younger-self meeting older-self in a movie because...well look at B.W. and W.S. when they did theirs and how went. Yet somehow you, R.R., make the idea seem like a good one. Not a vanity project like B.W and W.S. (especially since Will was digi-de-aged and played with himself the whole time) but an actual story that goes a little extra and pulls familial heart-strings to open the audience base and trap more of us into watching a movie you aren't half-naked in during the trailer. With a 12 year old playing the younger version and Reynolds the 42 year old one, and add on Ruffalo and Garner as Adam's Parents, I guess the alternate title would be "12 Going On 42." Or maybe not, but this looks like something fun for everyone, so I'll give it a gander. In any case the interactive part of the premise reminds me of other films I liked growing up, like "Frequency" & Disney's "The Kid", plus, I mean with Gamora, Elecktra, Hulk & Deadpool as the core adult 4, it's gotta be pretty fine, maybe not fantastic, but good or even excellent, I hope? And Catherine Keener is incredible too, from what I've seen, so to me, she's never been disappointing.

The name of the protagonist is Adam, which hints at him being the person who will bring a new world order, with time travel. Ironically Adam chooses to go agains time travel and parallels Biblical Adam defying god.
Note that as he responds to threats instinctively, he actually lived through the events as his young self and is using the knowledge to handle the situation.
It also means that although the problem might resolve, the end result that he timetraveled is fixed, as it requires the child protagonist to travel to stop time travel, creating a grandfather paradox

So I never thought I'd be pumped about younger-self meeting older-self in a movie because...well look at B.W. and W.S. when they did theirs and how went. Yet somehow you, R.R., make the idea seem like a good one. Not a vanity project like B.W and W.S. (especially since Will was digi-de-aged and played with himself the whole time) but an actual story that goes a little extra and pulls familial heart-strings to open the audience base and trap more of us into watching a movie you aren't half-naked in during the trailer. Well-done good sir, look forward to this ^_^

I haven’t been excited for a new movie in quite awhile. Can’t wait for this to come out.
With a 12 year old playing the younger version and Reynolds the 42 year old one, and add on Ruffalo and Garner as Adam's Parents, I guess the alternate title would be "12 Going On 42."
Or maybe not, but this looks like something fun for everyone, so I'll give it a gander. In any case the interactive part of the premise reminds me of other films I liked growing up, like "Frequency" & Disney's "The Kid", plus, I mean with Gamora, Elecktra, Hulk & Deadpool as the core adult 4, it's gotta be pretty fine, maybe not fantastic, but good or even excellent, I hope? And Catherine Keener is incredible too, from what I've seen, so to me, she's never been disappointing.
