Ah... Now that you mention it. I did find Ina sounding a little strange. This makes a lot of sense.
@@omgitzslaphappy also, some people just can't sound natural, reading from a script. Ina is a gem, but she might be one of those who has trouble script-reading.
Although, because she is so kind, I believe you're right, and she's just speaking carefully for JP-Bros and other non-English speakers.
I feel like they didnt know the full context. Like they were given the lines to voice over without knowing in what situation those lines would be used. Its possible, that hololive now have hundreds of possible voicelines, that they are slowly using to film these series.
I know that Eng speakers find Ina's speech deliberately slow and easy to follow, but I wonder of JP bros can tell

Kinda sounds like this was written in Japanese and DeepL'd into English.
As a reminder, Gura's official age is over 9,000. There is a good chance she's done similar things before. Thus explaining why she's the most competent here. The fact she wasn't thinking about what she was doing is probably why she's so good here, but in Minecraft she had issues. Also, she probably learned these skills to the point of forgetting what's she learned (like we do with walking, eventually we just walk without thinking about every last detail regarding putting one leg before the other).
Plus, she’s Atlantean. They’re all about islands.
Also, they kind of implied that Gura is more powerful than Ina considering Ina’s energy was depleted by the fight while Gura was still energetic. Maybe she is also secretly an elite Atlantean warrior. Who can say? ;D

This is such an interesting series for me, as you can tell the cultural differences in conversation. The English side is very simple and easy to understand / learn. Looking forward to see Ina and Gura grow in this short VA role!
Especially Ina. You can tell she has the least amount of voice acting experience here compared to everyone.

It seems Ina has forgotten she can open a portal to travel long distances, a la, Tako Eats delivery services... But this is good too, reminds me of the anime where the group of girls gets stuck on the island, and it teaches us basic survival tips, it's name is escaping me right now though.
This runs on Hologra rules, don't expect a whole bunch of logic. I mean Gura was swimming just fine in episode 1.

I feel Ina is the only one who's still getting used to the voice acting side of things.
She sounds little stiff in places.
Still very good job by the entire team!
I thought this episode she did much better. But maybe it's just that she spoke more?
She seems to be really focusing on speaking clear since that's something she worries about at times.
I think the JP staff directed her to speak slower and coherently for the Japanese audiences. Also the writing is trying to be colloquial; things like making Ina say swim ring instead of floaties or boobs instead of booba. It’s so it’s a one to one localization. Kinda like how we do localization in the west.
The UMISEA is the anime adaptation of the Akukin Kensetsu Arc of Minecraft Kensetsu Wars, though this is still the prequel
Imagine the different kensetsus animated bruh, pekora with the tnt war with subaru would be great
if this series does end up with Gura (and Ina) joining Aqua and Senchou, then its pretty much gonna look like an Akukin Kensetsu-inspired anime. XD

I think the reason Gura was in the middle of the ocean sleeping is because Ina carried her before they started to nap. So, in the end Gura can’t swim, but she can survive underwater and float to fight with Ina.
This Animation is a proof that we're near into having a full blown ANIME.
This is though and also they all ready had and still have a anime in fact this is tetnicly there third and some might argue 4th or 5th now yes this is there first 2d animated one but this isn't the first hologra is
