I looked up why people would want a barbell to bend and this was the only video I saw that explained the exact reason!! I don't really work out but I do appreciate when someone has an answer to my question, tbh I think RUclips has a problem with surch results recently.
The whip is important when you are doing Olympic lifts like jerks. When you take a dip in the clean position to go into the jerk the whip in the bar will dip alittle more and when the extension starts to happen it will allow the bar to help get the weight up as well so its using the bar to take some of the load off.
Tried to leave a comment latest video but it would not let me so I'm leaving it here. I recently saw your channel and I enjoy your reviews and also your products. I'm in the market for a barbell and then I see the MIDAS BAR and I was sold. I am ordering tmrw and can't wait to get it. I wanted to get plates from U too but they are a little pricey so I went a different route but Thnkx for the bar, hope it works as good as it looks
Thanks Bobby! The Midas Bar is one of our best - we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
Cheers

0:37 J cups are small but strong
The bend looked no different loaded.
I know it whips more in motion.
You're correct. The visual difference was slight and the whip difference is felt while performing the exercise.
When the bar is bending, is it make my squat more heavy?
The whip will make the weight feel lighter but if you are a person that pops at the top of a squat the weight will jerk a bit causing to feel heavier at the top.
