Morning Walk From Poseidonos Avenue to Paphos Sea Front

- Having reached the top end of Bar Street on our previous film I decided to walk back to the Harbour via Poseidonos Avenue and the Sea Front. Join me for a pleasant if somewhat warm trip.

▬ The Kathikas - Panagia Loop ▬
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.

Explore traditional villages, visit a shipwreck and some ancient sea caves, and have a swim or a paddle in some of the lovely beaches. And once you have done it, do it again in reverse, to finish it off with some spectacular sunsets.

The route is circular, beginning and ending at the Sculpture Park in Ayia Napa. If you are based in Protaras or Paralimni you can start in those towns and jump to the appropriate point. We do however recommend coming to the Sculpture Park and starting there, as it is best viewed either in the morning or evening.

Lovely film, beautiful place. Only 35 days to go, and Tina and I will be there, so looking forward to going back to Paphos and the Louis Phaethon, and having days and evenings at the harbour and along the Paphos waterfront

Imperial Chinese is fantastic. (Chloe's is good but Imperial is better imho) We eat there once if not twice on every holiday. Food is an 8 or 9/10. Usually excellent service, Reasonable prices and a lovely setting both inside and on the balcony. Have tried most of Chinese restaurants in Paphos and yet to find one better. Advised a few people to visit and never had anyone say they didn't enjoy it. 😄

It should be finished in a few weeks time. Do you think that the round holes in the pavement near the flower borders (e.g. around 3:00 and 3:30) could be for lights? There seems to be a cable sticking out of one.
Possibly, but I think they are going to install some shades of some description, and they will use those holes to attach them. Time will tell.
