Thank you so much for this tip! I have just bought this massager and stumbled on your video explaining how it affects our Afro hair making it web at the roots, I will be definitely taking this tip on board when I finally get my massager, thank you again.
I just got one and saw your review. I have really long curly wavy hair but my roots are really straight. I used the massager straight out the box and I experienced the same thing you said. It felt like when you tease the hair. I had to detangle my hair afterwards. Thank you for the silk scarf option I think that will be perfect 👍🏼.
Hi Kim! Thanks for sharing your experience! If you can't get a scarf, just move your hair out of the way and smooth your hair down with your hands before using the scalp massager in the area, and don't use too much pressure. Have a great day and thanks for watching!🤗🌻
i could definitely see the difference in the before/after when running your fingers through your hair. that looks like the perfect solution to remedy the problem...thank goodness for Janelle!
Great review! I saw your unboxing video - and yes, I was one who was wondering if it would tangle the hair. Thank you for sharing the scarf solution and other tips to avoid getting the hair tangled. It is also good to know that it works great for shampooing and can be used to massage other parts of the body.🌷
THANK YOU so MUCH for sharing your step-by-step experience. I've been looking at these massages for a couple of days. And I have another one that I purchase a few years ago and I stopped using it. I ordered one like the one that you have and this is a great video. 🤗😘💖
This is really neat. I need help around my temple and crown. I have a scalp massager with the bristles but I notice my hair get tangled in it sometimes so I use my hands. The scarf technique seems to work good and Protect your hair. 👍🏼🖤🦋🖤🦋 Have a Blessed Day 🙏🏼💞
Thanks for the feedback! We can never go wrong with using the best tools, our hands. 😀 I think I'll use it more when I shampoo because it seems to work okay for that. You have a blessed day too and stay safe!!💕🤗
Hey Ika! Let me know if you try it. I use a Canon Rebel T6i and a lot of light. Also, during editing, I have to do a little color grading. Everything I use, except the lighting, is listed in the description box. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. Thanks for visiting and commenting!
@nirmalSingh-mm6to I am sorry about your severe hair fall due to weight loss.😔 Scalp massages stimulate the scalp to increase blood flow to the scalp. So, it *could* help, but I *would not rely solely on this to regrow hair* because I am not 100% sure it is backed by science. I know there are a few hair-approved growth aides on the market that are backed by science. I would look at my diet/nutrition first, then incorporate other things to aid in hair regrowth. A supplement that I am contemplating buying is Nutrafol - my hairdresser recommended I try that supplement, but I have not bought it yet. All the best to you!!🌻
I’m Definitely purchasing one!!! What are your takes on heat?(I.E blowouts, flatirons Have you ever worn your fro out? I think it would be lovely on you
That's great; the link to read more reviews is in the description box. I think blowouts and flat irons are okay but should be done with care to minimize breakage and heat damage. Yes, I have worn a fro, and it's a favorite way to wear my hair (should be my signature style, because I like bigger hair), but I don't fro it out often! Don't be surprised if you see me in a video with an afro.😀 Thanks so much for commenting and for your excellent questions!! Take care!🌻
It doesn't hurt, and I mentioned that it pulled a little in the demo. If you have a sensitive scalp it might be a little irritating, but just don't put too much pressure.
I think it should be okay. Make sure you open the locks / move them so you can get to the scalp. If you have lots of new growth, be careful that it doesn't tangle your hair new the scalp. Thanks for the question and take care! 🤗🌻🌻
@@evelynparhamreviews you might not tell me surely that I will enjoy this because I have ordered this product on Amazon and return policy is also not there so, surely tell me that i will enjoy it or not because parcel is in my near City I can cancel now so tell me it's argent 🙄😌
It doesn't work like that. It wont work with an additional layer of cloth on. The silicone "claws" would replicate the massaging the scalp only when it touches the scalp else its just the motion felt on the scalp and would not have any effect. Its better to oil your scalp first and put it in a loose ponytail and then put it on your scalp. Also take it slightly off every 5 secs that way it would not mess with your hair. Its a great product otherwise. Just these little tweaks and you can get the best results. I dont think any additional layer between the scalp and the "claws" would work in its max potential.
