Love what VA have done to bring the Mythos One back! The 2 was a dud… but this one looks perfect. Thank you so much for reviewing 👍
Why was the 2 a dud? I was actually considering to buy one. Thanks.
Hi, as it seems from the size a funnel wouldn’t fit on a portafilter, right?
hello how to change the seconds to grams thank you in advanced
Thanks to your good and convincing advertising and giving it a good thought I purchased the new MYG75 the last touch to my Profitec pro800 and my Puqpress2. I thought I would be more than happy, but on the contrary very unpleased for the really bad service and poor attention my supplier and myself are getting from V.A. It happens practically to99% of us touching wrong settings making wrong adjustments on the screen going back and make a new start. Exactly this is what I did, but now I find i can't navigate to the menu front page, the language setting is blocked, the time setting every 10 hours goes slow for about 4 hours and I can only go so far down the menu, not to forget the bean hopper was packed damaged on both sides of the top edge. The packing was intact when I received it that is the reason that I reffere to be packed damaged. This has been going on as from the 6th of July and still not even used. The only thing we have had from V.A. is asking one day for the software number and 2 days later the serial number. We have pleaded with them for a phone call or even better video call but now 7 days later still nothing.
My question would be to you Pedro, would it not be possible for you to contact this V.A. representative Andre Eiermann and pass this on to him, i cant think of what else and i would be forever grateful. I paid 2,500€ to have it as part of furniture.
Francisgonzalez1948@gmail.com.
Firstly, have just texted Andre for you.
But, will email you to get more details so I can get the right contact in Simonelli group to reach out to you and hopefully make you smile.
Side note, not meant to be an advertisement. I genuinely get excited playing with coffee gear, Andre is a friend, and I don’t accept payment from suppliers so I’m free to review my thought. And apart from the Mythos in this video (as they are not yet released in Australia), most machines on the channel are actually owned by me.
I need a manual where can I find this ? My mythos my75G keeps giving an error Tare Ko scale out of range
Question: can you remove the top casing to incorporate the use of dosing cups?
On the timer version yes, not so much on the gravimetric.
@@CoffeePartsTV cheers.
Would the previous mythos one 3kg tall hopper work on this new mythos ?
They are a different angle inside, as this one has a more aggressive angles to feed the beans faster, so I don't believe it will work. Yet haven't personally tired.
@@CoffeePartsTV Thank you very much,I have to try it myself.
How to reset password sir
Didn't baratza do most of these features with their Sette, Vario and Forte series many years ago and with a less expensive price point?
I dunno but baratza is a silly name and the things they make look silly too...
Baratza is a fine manufacturer of better home grinders. They do NOT hold up in commercial use. We spent a good deal of money figuring that out .
Which one would you choose for a cafe, mythos 75g or mahlkonig 65s gbw?
Both would be cool.
There are elements of each that I like, so it will somewhat be a personal preference.
The Mythos 75g feels like it picks up the portafilter faster, and auto-calibrates extremely fast. Do like how easy it is to clean, the grind adjustment dial. Yet, the GBW is now a little more proven in the market, and do like the lower look and design. Both have easy-to-use menus/controls. The grinds are on par, with the GBW possibly having a slight advantage.
So in a cafe, I would probably have the Mythos 75g, but at home would prefer the GBW with a small hopper fitted.
Will do a comparison video soon, either way, both grinders are fantastic, and feel you would be happy either way.
I stand corrected, the baratza is marketed for the home while this grinder is marketed for the commercial level.
Hi Pedro I bought myself the Mythos myg75 when they first came out in the market. I really admire your devotion to this grinder, but let us get down to the real thing and maybe please you can help. I can talk 6 languages fluently but on doing the adjustment the grinder only offered me 2, English and italian, also the electronic burr adjustment is not in the software system. The agent ESPRESSO
COFFEE SHOP who sold me the grinder have been of great help, but all in vain. The replies from V.A. that they would be sending a USB to update the software but after 6 months still nothing. I call this fraud because the grinder is not complete with all the software they advertise and you are paying for it.
Thanking you Francis.
