Santa Maria Pavel Nikitin Part 6

Hi Everyone, Here's the Santa Maria Part 6 video . This part involves
the making of the masks and yards. Plus ,the installation of the rigging
blocks, eye bolts, cleats and stand offs. Get a chance check out

Thanks for the nice comment. For the hull I used OcCre Judea Bitumen diluted to
1 to 12 solution for the first coat. Second coat I used OcCre Sapelli Dye. Light
sanding. Followed up with two coats OcCre Satin Varnish. On the masks and yards first coat is OcCre Sapelli Dye, lightly sand. Second coat OcCre Pine Dye
followed by two coats OcCre Satin Varnish. Hope this helps.

Vance, looking great! I am catching up on watching a few days worth of RUclips videos, but I can't sit too long at one time. Thank you for the shout out and you are correct, seeing things from two perspectives is certainly a great thing! I believe that I will be grabbing some dowels and handle the masts and spars as you did. I haven't touched the model since the night before the surgery and I am looking forward to getting back in the saddle. I NEED to build! Again, thank you!

Great job as always and very well explained.
Do you have enough elements for the rig? I remember in the first video you mentioned that you were missing quite a few pieces. That's when I started looking through my kit and saw that I was missing some too.
The model is now in a very interesting phase. In the final photos it looks amazing.

Thanks again for a nice comment. Quick answer no. I’ll be going over the rigging
in the next three videos. Since I’m not installing the sails, I’ll be ok. Even though I’m missing rigging blocks.
