Paul and Jessica relationship was the best thing in Dune easily! Btw, I need to say that scene where them change clothes was little weird because of the look both give each other.
We agree, their relationship is gold! ^_^ It was supposed to be weird. They are forced to undress back to back when they are not used to doing so. The son grows up and emancipates himself from his mother. Jessica is lost and must follow in her son's footsteps when previously it was she who had control. And the visions in the tent changed things between them. So it's a kind of weird and awkward moment for mother & son as they prepare to take their first step into this new life.
@@titealicia0108 Of course we agree! Timothee & Rebecca made a fantastic job together. Yes, it's a good view about that scene, but I still see for other look too thanks to exchange check they do each other and other people notice too (exist a thread about this scene and their glance). Well, in my opinion, I fell a certain tension between Paul and Jessica in the whole movie, but the peak was when they are alone where emotions from both came out especially in Paul who start become the person he should be and Jessica was not ready for this. Anyway, I respect your opinion about the scene and thanks for made a video about them, because I was search for something and I was really happy when I found this video.
@@joaov.candido8399 Yeah, the actors were amazing! When you say "tension in the whole movie", are you talking about the same tension you felt when they undress or another tension (related to Paul discovering his mother's secrets)? There is never only one read to a scene so I respect your opinion too x) It's great that the film triggers this kind of discussion. Whereas for many films, people leave the theater without having a particular desire to analyze the scenes, the relationships between the characters and so on. You're welcome x) And thank you for this nice comment. I'm so happy people love this family relationship as much as me!
@@titealicia0108 maybe some of the tension is the deeply buried other memories eg Paul would know things about Jessica that his father knew..even at this early stage he'd have some unconscious awareness of intimate things..tho it wouldn't be on the surface as with Leto and Ghanima later on and he hadn't taken the water of life yet.. is maybe a bit like Jason and the Golden Fleece where he had a very strong bond with his mother through trials and hardships.. and even in the Old Testament one of Noah's sons looked at him when he was naked.. and it was frowned upon.. so there's a whole mythos to parents/children and nudity lol!? It is kinda weird, but Dune is not afraid of weirdness if it shows how its society and beliefs reflect its very distant Terran past.
Thank you! ^_^ I wanted to tell their two pov because it's important to explain both their relationship and what they experience. And luckily I found a song that could help me do that.
The mother son duo was everything ♥️♥️

They had a hisyory of previous cycles so that is why 😂❤🎉
Great edit on the most important relationship, in my opinion, from the first book. I love the song's choice as well ♥♥
Badass tribute. Great song choice and editing. Keep up the high-quality, hard work.
This is perfect - subbed - loved how you did part of the edit from her POV and part from his
