Coming Home to Farm Oysters

Graham Platner grew up in the small town of Sullivan just east of Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Graham and his family spent time on Frenchman Bay as a child, before he moved overseas to Iraq and Afghanistan to serve in the infantry.
After four combat tours, and later returning to Kabul work as a contractor, he moved home to start a business working on the sea. With the help and support from a local man named Jock Crothers, Graham became an oyster farmer. He currently owns and operates @waukeagneckoyster. This is his story.
