Majora's Mask is such an impossible to replicate masterpiece.
A shame they didn’t show Kafei as an adult though.
@@ryancentnarowicz there is the possibility we got his perspective of anju in the wedding dress and he was around eye level. They probably didnt show him because he either didn't have a proper model or it looked suspiciously too much like an adult link from oot except with blue hair. Wouldve raised a lot of questions.
This ending is just the pure definition of pure joy, after all the sorrow and darkness, it's finally over and the people can feel joy again. It's just wonderful
it's not pure joy but the world may not be real but even so link misses navi

@@umruan1 Not dying is a pretty good ending. And Link would most likely see making the world a better place and making people happy as a happy ending in of itself. Two of Link’s defining characteristics throughout the series are selflessness and humbleness.

my favorite part is 5:10 simply because of how hard the realization hits that the deku butler's son has been dead the whole time
Hearing Saria's Song at the end is such an emotional and beautiful touch to this credits track
That resolution at 5:43 is so perfect its hard to put into words.
Its the same theme from the intro but it is FINALLY a fully major resolution with no dissonance, showing that the nightmare is truly over and that Link found a new friend. Gorgeous!
6:05 always feels bitter sweet. So nostalgic but it’s also a punch in the gut

I wasn't born at the time where Zelda Ocarina Of Time was made, but somehow i still feel so nostalgic...
23 years and still my favourite game in the series to date, and probably still will be 23 more years later
For me, it goes a step further than that. It's one of, if not my all time favorite game ever period. It is the one I grew up with the most, the one I played the most, the one I watched the most, the one I screwed around the most with a bunch of gameshark codes and 4th day glitch cause why not. I have so many fond memories of that game. Even though when I was a very young kid, some of the moments did scare me a lot and even gave me some nightmares, it was the one I grew up with and learned to love the most of all.
Even though content wise, some other games are better, this one, in my opinion, cannot be beat in story, atmosphere or setting.
Today! I’ve finally done it, IVE BEATEN MAJORAS MASK AFTER 12 YEARS OF PLAYING! I can listen to this freely and feel very accomplished

Haha same here. I gave up collecting Zora eggs way back when lol. Then put away the 3DS version when I reached Ikana. Finally barreled through it all on 2ship2harkinian last week. Took me almost 24 years to complete the sequel to my favorite game of all time😂

It felt like ending the game, just listening the tracks and reading the comments. It feels good to know there are like minded indivuals out there, that lived the same experiences as me and my friends and cousins did back in the day!

On behalf of everyone who read your comment, and those who lived through similar experiences to you, your friends, and your cousins (despite the fact that I was not alive during the time this game came out and never played it on the N64, but did play it years later when it came out for the Switch on the N64 Expansion), I wish you happiness as well, dear commenter.

@@heeheeheehaahaahaa it's strange how a game from over 20 years ago can hold such a special place even when I only started playing it within the past year. That's what makes this game incredible.

Can’t decide whether this song is more fitting for the end of summer before college or the end of college before the summer. The song is both a conclusion and a call to adventure, especially with the lost woods theme at the end

I feel like end of summer before college is OOT credits. I’m still in that phase of moving on past high school and into college
I got an original N64 copy of Majora’s Mask for my birthday 2 years, it went from my least favourite Zelda game to my absolute favourite Zelda of all time and one of the best games I’ve ever played.
The whole credits was worth watching and it made me cry
The Jazzy Zora part just hits so good
What I love about this soundtrack is that it ends with the beginning. The beginning leitmotif (theme) is the ending. However it is ends with a more positive major ending.

My favourite part is from 2:05 to 4:23, since it feels like an end credits theme mixed with a happy celebration for the Carnival of Time.

Always CRAVE to play these games,...Majoras mask was an insane game...music, gameplay, story and characters...legit best time to play games early 2000s late 90s

I just beat the 3ds version of this game after having it for 4 years, I finally decided to go back and start a new save file after I gave up on my last one since I was bad at the game lol. I also got the fierce deity mask which made the final boss really fun, I feel like without it I would be on the final boss for a while. Anyways this game is a masterpiece.

@@thx4chrckingin And the Gorons' are either clueless and think their leader disappeared, or Link told them, gave them the mask and they managed to have a proper burial for their fallen leader.
And the Indigo-go band is likely unaware of Mikaus' death, unless Link told them and showed them where he buried him.
@@jaydemlowe I mean, Twilight Princess Link seems to be his ancestor, so unless Link was piping Malon when they were both kids, he seems to survive Majora's Mask

R.I.P. Robin Williams, I cannot believe it's been 10 years since your death, and thanks to you, I've become a huge Zelda fan.
I had this game for 13 years. I remember getting this game for the first time on the Wii Shop Channel alongside Mario Kart 64 for Christmas in 2011. And I was 13 at the time. And that game would immediately become my favorite Zelda game. But then few years later, I was able to get this game along with Mario Kart 64 off the eShop with a discount.
And I have my own gaming tradition every Spring since 2017. Is by playing through Majora's Mask by the end of 2 Weeks. And now that I have finished this years tradition, I enjoy myself with a victory meal.
After hearing that Saria Song at the very end of the credits, my journey has ended, And I eager to do this again next year.

@@wepmasters I forgot to mention in my original comment that the reason why this part of the game made me go crazy was because not included in this video when the song is played in the game, they show a reference to oot. They show a tree stump in the lost woods in oot with a picture on it of the skull kid and link from back then

My favorite part of this ending is where link passes on into the afterlife to be with saria, and the heroes shade doesn’t exist because link being petty over NOT being remembered is honestly last Jedi tier writing

Why does he have to die at the end of majora’s mask for the hero’s shade to be not canon though. Also I always figured it was less being petty and more being worried that Hyrule and TP Link were unprepared
@@lindseylindsey9200 regardless of whether he dies or not, i think that as this is a game revolving around death, we should let sleeping dogs lie... so to speak. he lived his adventure. the ghost feels a lot like a placeholder, a wave to the fanbase... much like luke in the new sw trilogy. it just serves to belittle the original character development. but that's just my opinion
