Love the build I have something similar but I like swapping with glint projectiles or the nails from depending on poke damage. Glad I found this channel earned a sub , not many positive attitude PvP content creators in this game. Happy you give non toxic energy to this community cheers brahh

@VonSchnitz I managed to hit people with it surprisingly often. Really shocked actually how many fall for it xD. I have not played it before the patch but the hyper armor is on the weaker side. Colossals with you out of it with even 90 poise but it's super fun
It’s still insane that the tree spawn is actually a thing. I first found it out when I spawned into a host that had mohg’s spear. I used the phantasmal finger and ended up back at the tree :/
Awesome, I actually have a Mage Samurai build in Elden Ring already, level 201 (Wearing the Carian knight armor with the Land of Reeds helm) Carian Sovereignty does insane damage and quick stance break, only using it on the Great Katana doesn't provide too much hyper armor
@@jasonheath7045 it provides the most hyper armor it can give besides using it on Greatsword class weapons. It's enough to tank through any great weapon hits with the setup I used. Just can't hyper armor through colossals or higher tier of hit stun

Yeah I considered going for the damage, but poise seemed more important since I planned to tank hits to land the Carian Sovereignty. It was also one shotting anyone when fully charged anyway, but maybe with Rogier's set I could've gotten more uncharged OHKO's🤔
@@VonSchnitz yeah, I tend to not really play PvP so poise isn’t that important to me ig. I was just thinking about optimizing for pve. Stance breaking with hard hitting spells and going for a fully charged carian sovereignty sounds like it would be insane
do you ever do invasions at level 150-160? The one thing that stops me from wanting to go higher with my builds is I feel like build identity is more concrete at those levels and stuffs a little less op
200 still allows for identity. The only difference a 200 build has over a 150 build is more comfort in fp for casters or endurance for melee. It also allows hybrid builds to shine and doesnt result in much more damage at all. Its also probably the most active too.
@@jimmyh2877 I usually do builds as either invasion or dueling builds because you want to prioritize different things in each scenario. Invasion builds tend to be burst damage focused and involve physik flasks while duels require a lot more poise and slower weapons basically don't work. I will consider doing a bit of both for future builds if I think it's relevant to showcase both
well the focal point of this build was the carian sovereignty and gravity missile was just a supporting spell. OFC if you want more gravity missile damage instead, go for it! Sounds like it would be super strong with 80 int and Lusat's staff as main casting tool

I have one great katana with Carian Sovereignty and one friend dropped for me other great katana, that i use Chilling Mist, i loving it

@@trop1kill yes! All my other builds I've made for the DLC are lv 150 or 125. This is the first lv 200 build I've made.
