This gun and the other new one Drilling look so awesome! I just wish it didn't take forever to unlock if you're a casual player. I don't have $70 to buy the whole battle pass or whatever but I also seriously doubt I'll be able to complete it in time based on how often I'm able to play
If you don't get it soon, those weapons will be available to everyone as part of the game's normal progression when the event is over. The only real fuss is if you wanted their event-related skins or the immediate access when prestiging until then.

It needs a buff. 2 slot is what makes it stupid. It does 120 damage and has a shotgun barrel that is very situational (10M torso shot it rough to pull without trading and can easily screw you if they are just out of range). Either make it a 1 slot weapon that is slightly cheaper or keep it 2 slot but buff the long ammo damage to 125 and increase the velocity or increase shot cycle time OR attach a medium shotgun barrel to it.
Agreed. Crytek played it waaaay too safe with the price and the stats. There really is no reason to take it over the uppercut and the obrez, unless you just like the weapon. Hopefully it gets a buff soon to make it more of a competitive choice.
That slug shotgun does. Depending on loadout you’re 100% right as I’m an Obrez connoisseur myself, but having that last ditch CQC option never seems to lose you fights in my experience. If you’re the kind of player who is just scamping an skating the map sure, great points ^^ but otherwise ya boring

It honestly needs to have an edge or a huge price cut. Wether you buff the shotgun barrel to medium, muzzle velocity, reload speed, shot cycle speed, damage, or range. I think the gun actually has a smaller one headshot kill range which is crazy. An uppercut shouldn’t be a cheaper and better version than a more expensive 2 slot revolver, for a unique slug that takes takes a while to switch and is limited to 10m torso 1 taps
The Uppermat is great. I honestly think they could give the Uppercut itself the same treatment, give it the fun 2 handed anims and make it a medium gun.

When it comes to fire ammo insta burning. Med/Long ammo definitely needed it. Especially on the guns that only had one in the chamber. They were more or less entirely useless otherwise. But when it comes to compact ammo, most guns using it being those with 6+ in the clip/mag/barrel, it should still just be 2.
22:52 this is why I don't use flash bombs, they're SO utterly broken it feels like I'm actually cheating if I use them. If I find one in QP I just throw it immediately so no one gets to use it. They should be removed or have a 4-5 second fuse, or heavily reduced blindness duration.

The current problem with Incendiary Ammo is that there is a bug where it deals half damage in Thundershower matches. e.g. Sparks Incendiary deals 74 damage, down from 149.

Baby LeMat. They are extremely rare the pistol caliber is .32 instead of .42 and the central barrel is caliber .41 instead of .63. There were exactly 100 made.
I try and clean my PC out every few months, but also depends on how clean the surrounding area is kept. Messier the gaming area, the more dust gets sucked in by the case fans, thus more often you'll have to clean out the PC. Plus any type of smoke or vapor gunks up your fans faster and shortens their lifespan, so if there's any of that around it's good to clean it more often as well.
That depends entirely on your mouse dpi so its not easy to compare 1:1. The rule of thumb ive always heard is have it just sensitive enough to do at least 180 without straining.

I love this weapon in concept so much... The problem is, it is not only exmtremly weak relative to the other long ammo 2-slot option (It barly or arguably doesnt even out perform the Uppercut, a cheaper 1 slot), it also doesn't deliver on its fanatsy... Like, this thing is twice as big and probably 5 times as heavy as the Uppercut but somehow does LESS damage to the point of not even oneshotting previously downed Hunters to the chest (Which is kind of one of the biggest points of long ammo and why it feels so powerful). I am really disapointed mainly because I want to love this weapon so badly...
The relatively quick fire rate, long ammo penetration, emergency slugs and its stability make up for the damage in my opinion, so i think it is more fairly judged as being a "Krag Obrez" with an additional shotgun barrel intead of being compared to uppercut or 125+ damage long ammo rifles. It has pretty strong two-tap capabilities. It isn't game-breaking but I think its place in the meta is pretty solid even if not top 5 or top 10.

True, the Krag is the exception to the "Long Ammo >125 damage" rule, but lets keep in mind what that gun gains in return: It has actual long-range capability, one of the fastest bullets in the game (I think, would need to double check), Winfield-Levels of Firerate and one of the best reloads in the game. Also you can boost its firerate even further with Iron Sharpshooter. The Uppermat on the other Hand has a rather slow bullet for long ammo, bad range, one of the worst reloads in the game and while its base-firerate is good, it can't be further argumented by any traits. The shotgun, while useful when you bring slugs, also isn't that big of a factor since when you bring a long-ammo 2-slot you would expect to have a good close-range option as a secondary. It can be a good backup but it is more of a gimmick than a big balance consideration since it is just the basic Lemat shotgun-barrel and thus by far the worst shotgun in the game. Also, a big reason why I critisise the balance of the gun is because its lack of damage simply doesn't fit what the gun should feel like imo. I mean, we get a pistol in the game that is so heavy that you need to hands to carry it but at the same time it is the lowest-damage weapon within its ammo-class. So long story short, I have to hard disagree. This weapon is COMPLETLY outclassed by the Obrez, expecially since the Obrez has further variants like the mace AND is a lot cheaper. If it was a 1-slot it would probably be a good competitor to the Uppermat, maybe even a little better, but the fact that such an expensive 2 slot weapon can only compete with a considerably cheaper 1 slot says a lot about its balance state imo.

Uppermat is kinda underwhelming to me. It's more expensive than an uppercut but worse in every stat except slightly better in muzzle velocity and ammo capacity, can't be fanned, needs quartermaster to run with a long weapon, and most importantly to me it cannot oneshot down someone missing a small bar. I would be happy with it if it didn't cost more than an uppercut but I can't justify gearing up to run it when I can just slap an uppercut in a small slot for less money and have it re-kill anyone who's been revived in a fight with one shot versus two. It's even more expensive if you bring slugs, and has the slug kill range of the small lematt.
i dont see the use of the lefat. its just an uppercut with a fairly bad shotgun atachment. but its got worse irons, worse sway, doesnt deal 125 dmg. like, just use an uppercut
I see taking the uppermat only if you want the shotgun with the long ammo reserve for a gun like the Krag. Other wise, you are just better off taking a medium shotgun.

Uppermat is kinda underwhelming to me. It's more expensive than an uppercut but worse in every stat except slightly better in muzzle velocity and ammo capacity, can't be fanned, needs quartermaster to run with a long weapon, and most importantly to me it cannot oneshot down someone missing a small bar. I would be happy with it if it didn't cost more than an uppercut but I can't justify gearing up to run it when I can just slap an uppercut in a small slot for less money and have it re-kill anyone who's been revived in a fight with one shot versus two. It's even more expensive if you bring slugs, and has the slug kill range of the small lematt.

Really bad shotgun attachement*, lemat basic buckshot is just less reliable and has the same range as a bayonet

I see taking the uppermat only if you want the shotgun with the long ammo reserve for a gun like the Krag. Other wise, you are just better off taking a medium shotgun.
