31:25 It is the complete opposite for me and my mates. In the rain you have even worse sight than in fog and you get no sound clues by the enemies whatsoever. Since Hunt is such a sound based game, the rain makes many situations almost unplayable. Just today I died to a guy who was sprinting right in front of me (not even 20m away) since there was heavy rain and I couldn`t hear anything. At least for my team, the rain map should be a separate contract and not included in the regular map rotation.
To make my statement even more clear: A good Hunt player is greatly defined by his ability to identify different sounds. Since heavy rain cancels this core mechanic by like 95%, it just unnecessarily changes the entire gameplay and makes fights and any other interaction in the game unpredictable. Don`t get me wrong, for everyone who loves the rain setting, go for it. Enjoy it! But I don`t wanna have anything to do with it.
This was really good, I like how relaxed this feels and not to mention the true naked run having such a random experience the whole way through was a lot of fun to watch. Keep this content up please, also hope your health whether it be physical, mental, or emotional gets better. I would love it if Primal Instincts stayed. I hate the feeling of being in the boss lair and having banished the boss and you got no idea if someone's coming or there or not. I love having SOME sort of "scouting" trait that tells you whether you're in immediate danger or not.
If so, I think it should be nerfed to 30 meters or something. I really like to use it, but I think it changes the game too much (emotionally). A lot less suspense and anxiety.
@@arsenez.2432 I don't agree with that, personally. I think that the suspense is still the same when you know there's someone but don't know where exactly.
Smuggler is my favorite. Only for 1 reason. The double ammo resupply is a godsend when I’m doing silly explosive crossbows with Springfield explosive/bleed ammo.
Instinct needs to not stay. It cheapens the thrill of the unknown that someone can be lurking anywhere. If anything make it where it only detects movement walk/run of players nearby, so still or crouched is still undetected, like radar from halo.
Great episode Neenoh. I think my favorite is grounded. I play smuggler a lot, but just because of the presets on the hunters. Primal is really cool but I always forget about using instinct. My teammates pick it and do the job for me though

@@t-ray1890Sound get you caught anyway i feel like. The only fun i see is the potential bait effect on people thinking its clear because there are still a lot of IA, great ambush setup.
Great vid Neen. Personally I prefer smuggler. Mariner + Vigor + regen shot is actually really good at healing quick during a fight , and allows you to save your healing supplies for true oh shit moments.
@Neenoh, the crosshair bug actually does make your hipfire accuracy better, try it on a wall one time, it's not just a visual bug the way you described it!
All the traits that fit any build really depends on the player. However, there are some ubiquitous traits that empower every style (solo or team) and every player at all stages of a hunter's level and player's skill. These three traits equal a net benefit at all times, no matter your equipment or lack thereof! 1: Determination - Stamina is a big deal in the game. Whether to take down bosses quickly and quietly; or to book it when a fight becomes untenable for a win. You can't always rely on Conduit to get you easy stamina boosts as spawning far from a boss that quickly gets downed will mean that you need to recover more quickly. "But, why not Grayhound?" Recovering both sets of stamina after one second is more ubiquitous and reliable. 2: Packmule - Toolboxes and looting players takes precious time. With Packmule, you're spending less time trying to fill your consumable slots when you're poor, and more time throwing them into the fray! While Frontiersman is an alternative for tools that you might expend; that is an expensive trait. And you'll get the added benefit of quickly filling your consumable slots to make room for cash overflow! More money for next run! 3: Lightfoot - "But, Amendelwyr, you just said before that Frontiersman is an expensive trait." You can never pay enough points to get fewer grunting noises in your hunter's life. I was torn between Silent Killer and Lightfoot, because the question asked for only three traits. Usually, they are what I take hand-in-hand together. But if I had to choose, I'd rather have the option to not make as much noise rotating and positioning. I don't want my enemies to know where I am, as best as I can manage...
@12:45 I love Instinct as a perk but do not think it should stay. A lot of the appeal of Hunt for me is not knowing when people are nearby and that fights can happen anywhere. Spamming darksight to see if anyone nearby cuts out a lot of those situations. It also makes it really clear when a fight is over, which can be positive and negative. If it could be given a larger radius to make a bit more obsolete I can agree with it being put as a base perk. More range, harder to pinpoint where exactly people are around you.
I'm actually against instinct. It takes away too much of hunt's flow and personality for being an answer to campers My favourite even trait right now is Gunrunner. Mariner and Remedy are runner-ups.
As a solo, Necro, Resilience and Magpie are pretty goated. Though I try to get Serpent and Conduit as quick as possible after that. In a team I often have to "share" my use of Conduit sadly, as everyone loves having practically infinite Stamina xD
smuggler is great if you like special ammo, mariner is fun with vigor though. Grounded is the best for team play with how easy it is to use if you dont pick up shadow, for traits i hope stay, smugglers(both of them), and remedy. instinct could be good but maybe reduce its range?
top 3 perks, easily packmule, necro and resilience. self revive and reviving teammates are huge swings in fights. packmule gets you twice the consumables, and if u havent used your nades you get twice the heals, so its better than doctor. and resilience makes it so u need long ammo to body to re-down someone, krag and light and alot of medium ammo needs headshots with resilience since it heals to full instead of 100 now.
I really like instinct but i found myself becoming almost overly reliant on it. Im like a lion thats been in captivity too long. I cant go back out and hunt for food in the wild anymore lol. Its a great trait though, wouldnt hate for it to stick around. Would be cool if one trait from each pact stuck around after the event.
Would be nice to have like a UFO passing randomly and leaving a foe like the last movie of predator. That Type of hunter in the map that would be really cool. An ancient being to fight with melee, arrows stuffs like that.
i love these, however id love to see some games where you use exclusively non weapons. so no picking up weapons in the game. but u can bring deringer, throwing axes, assailant, tomahawk, tool boxes, nades, and melee weapons for primary/choke-decoy crossbow (cept for bomblanse) ive enjoyed doing this shit tbh, its pretty fun.
mariner works in alot more than youd think. undeep water (so u run at full speed) it works to a slightly lesser speed of healing in heavy rain. but it also full speed heals in like water puddles, eventho youd think it wouldnt. it also works with vigor which is stupendously strong, and you get to reload, stim, and juke while healing too. gunrunner in turn works with long ammo and nitro ammo since its a flat 2 extra bullets. so thats, something. especially for nitro and bomblance frag ammo.
instinct might be my absolute favourite perk now just because it's very anti-camp and user friendly for beginners who don't know how to use sound when they first begin as well
I think Mariner could stay in the game as a permanent perk, but severely nerfed (~9 or 10 perk points, heals at half the speed). I don't see Instinct being added unless its crazy nerfed to like 15-25m lol
Though I like the concept of Instinct, as like a way to counter Solos. You kill one and you DS and see there's no one around you know that person is a solo. And on the other hand it's good for solos as well watching Psychoghost use it when he is looting to know if it's safe to.
If remedy stayed in the game after the event, would it stay as a burn trait? I feel like it would be way too strong if it wasn't. Would that also open up the game to more burn traits as well? That would be interesting to see.
Instinct is bugged right now. It happened to me a few times and I don't have any way to prove it's actually what happened, but everytime it happened I never got challenged. Whenever I get to the extract with Instinct, my dark sight will shine orange to signal enemy presence, but there is actually no one. I think what happens is that the last person to extract at that spot unfortunately leave their presence their hence why the perk catches it yet nobody remains. So I panic everytime because I never know if it's true or just the bug.
"Why do you spawn without weapons?" Honest answer: "Because I am so f*cking skilled and other huntplayers are too bad that it's just no challange at all to go in with a normal loadout and kill everyone!" Neenoh is just too polite to tell the truth in this case 😂
