Nostalgia: YTV Bumpers (2006-2009)

How many do you remember?
Some of these bumpers aired as early as late 2005, (the three logos at the beginning for example) but I believe most of the bumpers were added in 2006 or so. All the bumpers stopped airing altogether by August 31st, 2009.
I remember seeing various bumpers in 2008-2009 - when I started watching YTV. I was only 3/4 years old when I saw some of these, but I'm glad to recall them, as they were still airing.
Credits go to MIKER PHONE, (RUclips Channel) ICE VFX, Michael Lam, and Tennant McKay (Vimeo Members) for the bumpers!

These really felt like a transitional period for the network: Still had the crazy vibes of the previous eras, but you could tell that they were slowly moving away from “weird”.
I saw the bumper with the blue bumper and was scared of sleeping for days lol.
@@okjeffy6581why?
Love YTV. This was my childhood here.
As you know, the 2003-2007 monsters (from the "Keep It Weird!" era) with the 2005 logo text were used from January 2006 to August 2007, when all the "Keep It Weird!"-styled bumpers were beginning to disappear.
i remember during family events this channel would be playing
0:20 that alarm though
I don't live in Canada. But this Channel is really awesome! I just wish American Kids TV was like this... Heck, I bet all of the kids in Canada watched Kids tv than Kids in the USA
This identity was designed by the Hollywood-based firm Troika Design Group and was used from September 5, 2005 to August 30, 2009.
You mean September 6, 2009.
@@keironforbes9512 Is it true that the 2009 branding debuted on that date?
@@Adadevoh2000 Yes.
@@keironforbes9512 And it's real too?

I like the keep it weird era of YTV better
0:00, this is the logo I remember seeing on my childhood series Edgar and Ellen and Kid vs Kat, the show I used to watch on Disney XD.
I much prefer the Keep It Weird and creature era. I only watched the creatures era for a very short time no more than two years and I already felt betrayed when I saw these newer bumpers which I thought was much less interesting.
The 90s era around 1994-1998 was also really good, they focused more on "edgy/cool and cyberpunk" than "weird and zany" of the keep it weird era.
From this video I just like the first few simple bumpers and the Godzilla bumper and that's it. I like the Godzilla one because it compliments the influx of anime at the time. I liked the first few simple bumpers when they showed anime afterwards but not when they showed cartoons. I always thought it to be like a kids friendly version of Bionix kind of vibe.
If The "Keep It Weird" Era Was The Silver Age of The Channel! But 2006 Ident is Where Its at For Me This was Like YTV's Attitude Era.
I Miss These Idents So Much.

And now a sneak peek at Godzilla x Kong: A New Empire
The first three remind me of the original Xbox which makes sense being the 2000s
