Hi all, My name is Steve, I was the monitor engineer for the band and worked on this show, just found it on you tube, brings back some great memories. Tarazara were a great band, shame they never went any further, that's the music business for you !
Pretty sure as a young lad I sent a blank tape off in the post to these guys in about 1984ish and they sent it back with their songs on. I played if so much..
Danielz & his 1980s band 'Tarazara'. Well, I think Danielz is doing a wonderful job keeping Marc's name alive in the 21st century, no doubt, but I also like his own songs. They're powerful. This video is the proof! TvRex
WOW! Tarazara! This was May 1985! One of the more memorable acts on ECTV who disappeared soon after a feature done in Kerrang! magazine later that year. Many thanks for sharing this!
it would seem he was a famous person in his own right and nearly made it, but what happend? i was a teenager in the 80s and never heard him wich seems strange as i think it would be huge at the time i wonder where thwy went? and when he decded to go marc bolan? he is a natural performer like marc and a fan for sure
I used to wait for fri evenings and ECT....... Some of the bands didn't appeal but they were proper bands playing as live... Hawkwind were on it and that's the day I officially became a Technician of Spaceship Hawkwind and life was never the same.....
Wow, this one year after I was born. Awesome song, not enough of this sort of music nowadays. And I get to work with they keyboard player! It's a shame more performances weren't recorded.

Now this takes me back, I remember this at that the time, and im sure these guys influenced many bands at this time including the Gentle scars
i think danielz is bloomin awesome !! i go to see him play with trextasy all the time...as said before,,he keeps marcs music alive !!!
