- John shows off a good number of voices on the new FR-8x. He includes 2 famous Magnante arrangements of "Carnival of Venice" & "Malaguena". Notice his use of the USB memory for a drum track in "My Way" near the end.

I applaud Roland for crafting such fine instruments in these bad economy times. Roland used to make very desirable digital synthesizers (D-series), digital pianos (RD-series), and samplers (S-series) back in the late '80s. Today, their synthesizer offering is not that desirable anymore. However, the V-Accordion line is very desirable. No cost cutting corners here, but very finely made instrument, in Italy. Thank you Roland.

This guy is one of the unique talents in the accordion world. He plays the great old accordion tunes and arrangements with flair and style. If he is ever performing on the West Coast I will definitely pop the big bucks for a front row seat. Does anyone know the name of the flamenco song he played? The bass work in that song totally blew me away. Long live the accordion!

This video is amazing. Your interpretation is phenomenal, but also, the choice of tunes is really inspiring. Ss there any way you can list them? In particular, I'd be interested to know the titles of the tunes at 19:53 (some Musette), on 4:25 (some cowboy dance), 10:46 (with voices), 14:32 (Irish music?) Thanks so much for putting this together!

Is the accordion plugged into a speaker system or is it wireless? Or does it have built in speakers?
Can be plugged in to speakers or midi. Not wireless, built in speakers 2x25w battery or mains use, best instrument I ever owned, better instrument than my Hohner or my Excelsior 120 pro I'm old hence the collection. lol but not a purist.
