We all know it is not Respawn that's killed the game. It's EA greed and monetization practices that's really strained the community and made players leave. The #1 issue is lack of content in Apex they allow us to play certain things only and redo old modes so much it's redundant.

These new games will have their own issue and people will give it grace because they are new, however that grace will not last so we will see if either of them have the staying power that Apex has had. I stopped playing apex for months. Starts playing again with my buddies on thanksgiving who also stopped playing. Now we have to fight nessies n shit. Every battle is 1v9+. We get teamed on constantly with obvious teaming. They surround us kill is and just loot us together. We pushed the final two teams cause they were “fighting”. When we got in the building they were just sitting there watching the doors and just lured us in with a fake fight. Game has fallen off so fucking hard. But they got a big ass store now n that’s all they care about.
Counterstrike has barely changed in 24 years. Rainbow Six is basically the same game it was 10 years ago. There is no need to change something that works. I feel like casuals want APEX to be something it's not. APEX was always meant to be a hardcore FPS game, it was always meant to be sweaty. 🤷

Apex isn't being innovative enough/ evolving enough, for example each fortnite chapter is night and day, they make so many innovative changes for the community, they made a Zero Build mode for a game about building and shooting just to include people who are not fans of building, now they added simple edits, simple edits is a single button edit feature for people who want to get into build but learning edits is a hassle, they made it and it works well. Also, BRs are generally dying, many of them did not last and those that did and are doing very well are less than the fingers on one hand, Apex needs to do a massive overhaul, I stopped playing because nothing changed. I stopped playing fortnite before zero build came out because i couldnt build, once zero build was added fortnite entered my gaming rotation and is top 3 currently. People are starting to lose patience for dying and going back to lobby, that's why so many people are running into arena shooters, in arena shooters, you can respawn and strategize, part of why games like Valorant, CS can't die, even Overwatch but with the release of marvel rivals, Overwatch will have a heavy player reduction. APEX DOES NOT HAVE SOLOS, a BR where you always have to have teammates and can never play solo vs solo is such a bad idea in this day and age, gamers dont have patience anymore. this is my 2 cents

I'm not jumping ship on Apex, because I do enjoy it. But I'm def getting into Marvel Rivals hard.
I would say Marvel Rivals is competition for Overwatch moreso than it is for APEX Legends. The main competition to APEX is FORTNITE and Warzone.
These new games will have their own issue and people will give it grace because they are new, however that grace will not last so we will see if either of them have the staying power that Apex has had. People will still play and complain about apex regardless of the lunch of either of these games so unless something enters the scene that can provide on par movement which is the back bone of Apex, I don't see anything changing.
