❤ always a good idea to break the eggs in a separate dish to make sure there's no blood spots or anything else before you mix it into your sugar
Ya'll I just made these and they are banging. I did have to add an additional egg for some reason. When I tried to mix the chocolate mix with the flour it was so dry it wouldn't mix together -- I wondered if maybe I measured something wrong. Now that I think about it.. I was 25g short on my starter... But they are rich, moist, and delicious!

Just started making my first starter- a huge leap for me. We also go thru lots of butter as well. I like the mixing up of different chocolates
Can't do any of these recipes as can't do gram measurement

Oh, yum. I am certainly going to try this. I will have to figure out how to tweak it, though, as we are only using whole grain einkorn.
Why would my starter be sorta tan?
A quick tip (that's not so quick) on brownies, whip the heck out of the butter and sugar -- almost mousse like. I like to melt the butter then pour it over the Chocolate to melt it. I can't wait to try this tonight!

Do you think if I added brewers yeast and ground flax seed for lactation it would change the brownies much? I add 2 table spoons of each in my normal brownie recipe.
Jill - Don't be running a knife along the inside of a cast iron skillet. You're going to ruin the seasoning layers.
