Precise and well explained 👍🏻 Learning to Develop learning is a constant process...every day is a new day. But some things we need to follow for a life time.
Hi Dennis - Good catch. I have known about that. I was too quick to upload originally! RUclips doesn't let you upload updated videos. I have been working on an updated version I will be putting on Vimeo soon. Thanks for watching and reaching out!
Hi there, I have worked at universities for over 15 years primarily in roles based around student wellbeing, orientation and retention. I have been considering a career-pivot towards instructional design and have really enjoyed watching your videos - major props! Just a quick question, I want to explore microlearning/gamification and to start building a portfolio. Can you recommend any platforms (preferably app)? Many of them offer free trial periods etc. but just wanted to see if you had any advice.
Hi Mat - Good question. A lot of it has to do with the theory behind connecting with the audience and how you present the material in a way they can understand and then apply it to their real world. So many tools will allow you to bring your ideas to life. Personally though I do a lot in Storyline and Adobe After Effects. I feel I have a lot of flexibility to explore my ideas with these tools. Storyline has a free trial. Not sure about After Effects. Best to you!

Hi Lisa. Thanks! I wish RUclips let me update videos. Unfortunately, I can't fix that smoothly. I completely missed it when I first uploaded the video.

The contrast between your dry, even-keel voice and the funny stuff on the screen (nobody likes donuts with a bite in them) cracked me up.
Thanks! We can't let community donuts lead to office frustration. Glad you enjoyed the video

Thanks but I had to stop listening when I saw the typo "Incourages" in your slide... :(
Great videos, but encourages starts with an E - just FYI ;)

It’s “encourages” not “incourages”
