- Well I have now been on RUclips for 5 whole years! There are definitely times that I wonder if it is time to hang up my apron and call it quits, but I am determined to make it to my goal of over 100K subscribers. In this video I discuss everything I have learned from being on RUclips for 5 years, including the pros and cons.

Kristi, as far as getting unsubscribed, some channels I get unsubscribed from I watch on a weekly basis, or sometimes even more frequently! It’s frustrating! Very unusual, to say the least.

There will always be HATERS. Let them be water off a ducks back please. I watch most of your videos depending on what you are doing. Preparedness is so popular right now so if you are into canning to be putting food up, you will gain lots of followers that way. I have watched certain channels sky rocket due to preserving foods. And some stay the same due to personalities. I enjoy your videos very much...
Had me going too. Anyways, my wife Becky and I have been watching your videos for about a year and we just love them. I'm semi retired & Becky teaches special ed high school (specifically life skills). I send her the videos via text link and encourage her to have her students give it a try. I'm so glad you were April fooling. I am subscribed to only about four channels and you are one of those. I've watched you a long time and never knew you had another channel. Take a moment on both of your channels to share that you have another channel. Also, ask your subscribers to share your videos with friends. And don't worry about the few negative comments. No matter what anyone does, there's always going to be some negative person. You have so many that adore your fabulous professional dishes that they don't matter. And you make it all look simple. No you wouldn't be asking for subscribers by sharing your channels or asking your followers to share your sites with friends. People just need to know your sites are out there. Like me learning from this video that you have another site. I'm going to subscribe because I know I'll enjoy that one too. Looking forward to many more wonderful dishes and your travel channel. People will love your channels. They just need to know they are there for them. Remember, the squeaky wheel gets the grease.
I have been fooled twice today😂Love it and love your videos. I was wondering if you have a chocolate peanut butter fudge recipe I have been trying to find? The fudge tastes a lot like preacher cookies and doesn’t have that sickly sweet taste a lot of fudge recipes have.
Thank you Sabrina! I have a peanut butter fudge recipe and a chocolate fudge recipe but not a peanut butter and chocolate one. I’ll have to look into that! And I’ve actually never heard of preacher cookies and of course now I’m curious. 😊
PS - You’re right about getting unsubscribed. I’m a huge RUclips watcher and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been unsubscribed, sometimes 4-6 times on the same channel, and with numerous channels. I don’t know if it’s RUclips trying to save money or what… but it definitely happens a lot! Any way, good luck with your channel!
