I have one of these, works like a dream (after I realized the black part does not go on the battery). Useful during winter when the battery gets cold and loses charge. I love to add air to my tires and not have to pay to do so at the gas station. It is worth the money!
Where does the black part go then?
@@purpleblood25 some newer cars actually have a post-labeled ground for you to stick the black clamp on. Any bare piece of metal you find will work. If the nuts on top of your strut Tower are accessible and in reach, you could put the black clamp on one of them.

Thank you, you are very honest. I bought one of EverStart Jump starter yesterday exactly the same. One of the guy in the other clip said, "it not good." I am very skeptical until I watch your video. I learned all of the function button with my cat. The beep sounds scared my cat. One thing it doesn't come with electrical charger. It is great with Air Compressor. Easy just read instruction and come to watch your video to make sure. Thanks for posting to help lady she needs to do for herself is great. Good Luck every one.

The one from Walmart is much more expensive comes with a wall wart not a built in but they have the same problem as they all do a sealed lead acid battery need proper charging voltage some have it written right on the battery unfortunately its sealed in the unit but I found it on the internet so being skeptical I t ore down down my old black and decker to check out the charging voltage and it had the wall wart built in just put the ac prongs through the slits but surprisingly unlike the Canadian tire ones I've tore apart the battery had written right on it do not discharge below 12.2 float charge is 13.4 full charge is 14.8 and the wall charger said it was12 volts if you leave it battery dead or close to dead below 13.4 the sulfuric acid that is in the plates form sulfur crystals and they don't go back into the acid ruining the battery one thing that ever start has going for it is that even though the wall charger is 12 volt it charges to 13.1 and on mine the compreser won't run at 12 volts but it did boost my pt cruiser 5 times I'm going to make a charger to charge it through the cigarette ligtter port tried to go through the charging port and but it limits it to 13.1 since I have 2 I want them to last for years not just a year according to what I've read the can last 5 years or more if they're kept at the proper voltage and not abused by discharging below 12.2

I just bought one yesterday and plugged it in to charge today and after about 20 minutes is shows fully charged. So it came with 12.8VDC and after charging 20 minutes, it stopped charging and displays 13.1VDC and no more flashing bars. Is that normal?

@@PlatinumHustle Yeah, I ended up returning that POS.. In the end my mechanic used an old beat up charger from NAPA that was almost drained itself, and that thing worked lol! Sadly my Jeep is gone.. RIP 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee :(

So do I have to charge it 24hrs or just until it show's full bar's? Because I charged it until it showed full bar's. But after one jump it's blinking no bar's.

That's not a question.
Was hoping to see exactly how to use it to jump a car, how to turn it on and off or even how to correctly read the display. Never had to by a portable jumper so I'm not at all familiar with operations on them except for the obvious charging and connecting to car.
To use it is simple just attach the cables to the battery red is positive black is negative and turn on the power switch I'f it has no switch attach the red to positive and the black to the engine block negative always goes on last and comes off first as the battery when charging can put off a explosive gas and a spark can cause it to blow up

This video was great. I only came here to see how to charge it witch i already knew I needed and extension cord. He used all its features on screen. Did you want him to connect it to a dead battery walking you through step by step like your a baby? Any man would and can figure this thing out.
